Maraschino Cherry Cookies [Christmas Bon Bons]

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350.

Step 2

Mix together butter, sugar, vanilla, and milk.

Step 3

Add in flour and salt.

Step 4

Wrap dough around maraschino cherries.

Step 5

Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet.

Step 6

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then cool.

Step 7

Combine butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and cherry juice together.

Step 8

Once cookies are cooled, dip the cookies into the icing, coating the top of the cookies. Allow the icing to harden.
