Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 1/5-quart baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Cook macaroni and cheese according to package instructions. Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese, sour cream, and pepper.
Step 3
Transfer the mac and cheese into the greased baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
