makeupbynorma__ makeupbynorma__ Reviews 2 Votes 3 … ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars. makeupbynorma__ · 2 years ago I love this powder as a finishing step- I buff it all over the skin to create an airbrushed look and increase the wear time of my foundation (I also use the wet n wild photo focus foundation). I feel like the powders come in nice tones, and look great on the skin. It's weird- it doesn't have the most matte finish in the world, like that overly-matte non-skin-like look, but it does absorb oil for sure, so I can see it emphasizing dryness if over-used on dry skin. Doesn't break me out and I have acneic skin- controls unwanted shine throughout the day and looks skin-like love This Product . It is baked so on a few I have had to lightly scrape off the top layer to increase pigmentation but usually this is not an issue! I have gone through so many of these I can't even count (20+) it's an amazing product (I use it to set my foundation). Helps blur pores and lock in foundation and concealer. Even works great under the eyes. Only complaint it the shade range is severely lacking (at least in store- I haven't tried to buy it online), there only ever seems to be 4-5 shades available and in the light to medium range which is really unfortunate. If you happen to fall within that range you will love this! Jnicole1118 · a year ago Love the formula! This formula is similar to so many other baked finishing powders. It reminds me of hourglass finishing powders, Sephora micro smooth powder & a few others. It doesn’t Cake up. It sets my makeup wonderfully. But it isn’t matte. It doesn’t have Shimmer or glitter in it. But it gives such a natural radiance to your face where most other powders, are flat. This isn’t. I originally got warm light but it was way to yellow for me. Then I got neutral buff, which is too dark for me. I can make it work. I just wish there was a cooler option for fair skin tones. I really hope this is a product that set n Wild will carry forever. Please don’t discontinue this. I am saving so much money buying this instead of higher ends versions. You just can’t go wrong with this. (Unless you can’t find a shade for you) ✔ Yes, I recommend this product. Anonymous · 8 months ago Photo Focus Pressed Powder You would never think that for the price of this powder, it would stand up in comparison to the photo ready pressed powder by Revlon! Well it does, and I must not be the only one that knows this secret. I looked all over my area for it and it was out. Thank goodness for on line shopping. I love Wet and Wild Matte lipstick too. Beautiful bright colors that are to dry or moist and are stay worthy. ✔ Yes, I recommend this product. Review photo 1 Photo This action will open a modal dialog. Everything I love everything about this powder and the fact that it is also vegan and cruelty free. It is super light on the skin. It does not leave any cracks or flaking in your foundations and concealers. The photo focus line is also friendly to camera flashes and the sun. You don’t feel any itching on your skin and it has converge, especially when you apply it with a beauty sponge. It also LASTS a long time. I discovered this pressed powder a little over a year ago and everytime I run out, I always get more with zero hesitation. I highly recommend and it’s extremely affordable. I have dry skin and this is perfect for setting my face without sucking the life out of it. It is pressed very hard so I can really get in there with my brush and still don't over do it. It is so translucent that I can even lightly set my cream blush and bronzer so that they wear longer. It does some blurring although not as much as some loose powder products I've seen. If you are looking for a solid, reliable product that does what it's supposed to, you have it here. Bonus is that it is pretty darn inexpensive. Anonymous · 2 months ago Love all of wet Love all of wet n wild products, always have always will, the pigmentation, quality, staying power and price point of all their products might make people assume its too good to be true but it is too good to be the most affordable make up on the market and provides the same exact coverage, expectations you works reflect from the higher priced top dollar cosmetics products. Or maybe its just me. Regardless, when in doubt try wet n wild first then proceed, I guarantee you won't reach for most but not all of your covergirl, revlon products that cost 4x as much and have horrible pigmentation when it comes to facial products with the exception of mascara and lip products. Watch out though because if you apply too much, it can start to look quite powdery. The thing I don’t like about this powder is the packaging. Once you start to hit pan it gets really hard to use all of the product because the pan is not flat, I don’t know how to explain it but you will never be able to get to all of this product. It is a nice light weight setting powder for all over the face but I would not recommend for under the eyes. First of all, it is not easy to pick up, I had to scratch a bit of the first layer to be able to pick up a decent amount on a brush. I don't really see any airbrushed effect as described by beauty gurus, it just feels very dry and hard to pick up. I have had other baked products from Lorac and Milani and they were always super fine and easy to pick up, left an airbrushed effect on the skin without exaggerating texture.P.S. Packaging was also bad, the lid broke after 1 month.
