These Asian inspired meatballs are out of this world! Made with ground turkey, ginger, scallions, cilantro and sesame oil with a tangy sesame-lime dipping sauce.

Asian Turkey Meatballs with Lime Sesame Dipping Sauce

panko crumbs

tbsp ginger (minced)

garlic (minced)

tsp kosher salt

cilantro

scallions (chopped)

soy sauce

tsp sesame oil

tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce

Preheat oven to 500°F.

In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, panko, egg, salt, scallions, garlic, ginger, cilantro, 1 tbsp of the soy sauce and 2 tsp sesame oil.

Gently mix with your hands until combined well.

Shape meatballs 1/4 cup in size and transfer to a baking sheet.

Bake until cooked through and browned, about 15 to 18 minutes.

For the dipping sauce: mix the lime juice, water, soy sauce, and remaining 2 teaspoons of oil in a bowl.

Add the scallions and set aside.

Transfer the meatballs to a serving dish.

Stir the sauce, then drizzle the meatballs with a little of the sauce.

Serve the meatballs with the remaining sauce on the side.

30 Minute Asian Turkey Meatballs. Baked and tossed in an Asian inspired sauce. Serve as an appetizer or add rice to make it a meal!

Asian Turkey Meatballs

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic, green onions, egg, sesame oil and soy sauce. Mix with your hands until combined.

Grease a baking sheet with oil. Portion out 12 meatballs. (Working with slightly wet hands helps)

Place meatballs on the oiled baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes or until fully cooked, flipping halfway through.

Take out of the oven and toss with the Asian sauce.

Serve immediately and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

Add all of the ingredients to a medium bowl and stir to combine. Set aside until meatballs are done cooking.

Crack the egg into a medium mixing bowl and beat with a fork.  Add the panko, garlic, ginger, scallion whites, and 2 tablespoons soy sauce and mix to combine.

Add the turkey and with the fork, mix to combine, being careful not to over-mix.  Roll mixture into 16 evenly sized meatballs, about 1 ounce each, place on a parchment lined sheet pan and set aside until ready to cook. (Thoroughly wash your hands and work surface.)

Spray the air fryer basket generously with olive oil.

Add the meatballs in an even layer, cooking in batches if needed, and cook at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through cook time.  If cooking in batches, cover the first batch in foil and, if needed, add it back to the air fryer for 1 minute to warm before serving.

Bake the meatballs in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.

Oven Method

While the meatballs are cooking, combine the rice with the sesame oil and scallion greens.

Add ¾ cup each of rice to 4 bowls.

Top each with 4 meatballs and ½ cup edamame.

Drizzle each with 2 teaspoons soy sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds then top with sriracha, if using.

In a large bowl combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onions, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.

Portion out meatballs. I got about 20 meatballs or so.

Heat a large pot over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon olive oil.In two batches add meatballs and cook for 3-4 minutes or until they get golden brown on the outside. It is ok if the middle is still pink the meatballs will continue to cook in the soup.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the same pot the meatballs were cooked in. Add in the celery, carrot, onion, broccoli and saute for 4-5 minutes or until the vegetables start to get tender.Add in garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Stir in chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Add in spinach and cook until wilted.Take off of the heat and add in lemon juice. Return meatballs back to the pot and season the soup with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese.

In a large bowl combine chicken, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic and parsley. Sprinkle with a bit of salt and pepper.

Form into meatballs. I made about 2 dozen meatballs.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Spray with a bit of cooking spray.

Brown meatballs under the broiler (I use the high setting) until browned. About 6 minutes on each side. Flip half way through.

Place meatballs in the slow cooker and add in the buffalo sauce, brown sugar and soy sauce.

Cook on low for 2 hours. Serve warm with chopped parsley and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired!
