This is the best Avocado Toast you&#039;ll ever make. No need for fancy, over-the-top toppings, all you need is toasted bread, smashed avocado, a little lemon juice, olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Avocado Toast

bread (toasted (multi-grain, sourdough, wheat, gluten-free, etc.))

avocado

lemon juice

extra virgin olive oil

sea salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds

In a small bowl gently mash the peeled and pitted avocado with approximately 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice.

Divide and spread the mashed avocado across the two slices of toasted bread.

Drizzle each slice of avocado toast with approximately 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds (optional, to taste).

Best enjoyed immediately.

Avocado oil (or vegetable or canola oil)

Microgreens, everything but the bagel seasoning, chili crisp

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Carefully slice sweet potatoes lengthwise into 1/3 inch slices

Heat 1-2 tbsp avocado oil or other neutral oil on a baking sheet in the oven for about 2 minutes until very hot.

Carefully remove baking sheet from the oven and place sweet potato slices down in a single layer on the hot oil.

Return sweet potato slices to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until crisp on the outside and fork tender on the inside.

Let sweet potato slices cool slightly then top with avocado, microgreens, a drizzle of olive oil and flaky salt. Or any toppings you like. Serve immediately.

Store cooked, un-topped sweet potato slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the toaster oven or on a baking sheet in the oven.

Literally my two favorite ingredients avocado and sweet potatoes. This recipe is easy, fun, and delicious . The toppings are truly endless. We added sliced grapes and turkey bacon crumbles.

Boil corn on the cob in a large pot of salted water for 10 minutes. Drain then brush with oil.

Grill the corn in a griddle pan or an outdoor grill until caramelized and golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Halve the avocados and remove the seed/pit.

Scoop out the flesh and place in a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper then smash with a fork to your preferred texture.

Toast the bread then top with the smashed avocado.

Slice the grilled corn off of the cobs then add to the top of the avocado toast.

Add sliced chillies, fresh basil leaves and cheese (if using). Season with salt and pepper then serve.

Toast some slices of your favorite bread.

Meanwhile, peel the avocado and remove the pit. If you want the avocado to look pretty, then slice it, arrange the slices on the bread, drizzle the avo with lime juice and sprinkle it with the spices.

You can also mash the avocado in a bowl with a fork, add the spices, and the lime juice, then top the toasted bread with the mashed avocado. Enjoy!

Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit. With a paring knife, score the avocado flesh into slices, about ½-inch thick. Using a spoon, scoop the flesh from one of the halves onto 1 of the pieces of toast. Repeat with the other half.

With the tines of a fork, mash and spread the avocado slices so that they cover the toast. Drizzle both pieces with the olive oil and squeeze the lemon wedges over top. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
