Fish Nuggets with Bang Bang Sauce

halibut

panko breadcrumbs (a crispier breadcrumb than regular breadcrumbs, look

mayonnaise

Mix the parmesan and breadcrumbs in a bowl.

Add the eggs to another bowl and the flour in a third bowl.

Bread the nuggets first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then into the eggs, letting the excess egg drip off and then last into the breadcrumb/parmesan coating.

Place the nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the oven for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and flip the nuggets over.

Return to the oven and cook another 7-8 minutes until the second side is brown.

While the nuggets are in the oven, mix together the bang bang sauce and serve alongside for dipping.

I haven’t made the nuggets yet, but I made the sauce to go with shrimp.  Wow.  It is my special cheat day sauce!   Thank you!!!

Bang Bang Sauce (Bonefish Grill Copycat)

(120 g) mayonnaise

Bang Bang Shrimp, the popular Bonefish appetizer, is easy and healthy to make at home! Crispy baked shrimp coated in a creamy, spicy sauce.

Bang Bang Shrimp

all-purpose flour

breadcrumbs

eggs

Nonstick cooking spray (preferably olive oil

Greek yogurt

Thai-style sweet chili sauce

Sriracha (plus additional to taste)

green onion

Bib lettuce

Preheat

Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees F. Generously coat a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick spray.

Stir

Set up your work station: arrange 3 shallow bowls in a line (a pie plate works well also). In the first, place the flour. In the second, beat the eggs. In the third, stir together the Panko and salt. Place the baking sheet at the end.

Working about 4 shrimp at a time, dip the shrimp in the flour, shaking off excess, then into the egg (again, shake off the excess), then in Panko mixture. Pat the Panko onto the shrimp to adhere it.

Arrange

Arrange the shrimp on the baking sheet, making sure they do not touch.

Mist

Mist the top of the shrimp evenly with nonstick spray.

Bake

Bake for 10 minutes, until the tops are lightly golden.

Turn the shrimp over (I find a pair of tongs to be easiest), then continue baking for an additional 5 to 6 minutes, until golden and crisp outside and cooked through.

While the shrimp cook, prepare the sauce: in a small mixing bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, Thai chili sauce, and sriracha. Taste and add additional sriracha if you’d like the shrimp spicier.

Serve

Arrange the baked shrimp on a serving platter. Drizzle the sauce generously over the top. Sprinkle with green onions. Enjoy immediately right off the plate, or wrap inside bibb lettuce leaves.

Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon is perfectly cooked in the air fryer and with a simple 3 ingredient bang bang sauce that is extra yummy

Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon

mayo

sweet chili sauce (I used Frank's)

salmon

kosher salt

Put the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl and whisk until combined. Put 3/4 of the sauce in a separate bowl for dipping. Brush most of the remaining sauce on the salmon (save some to brush the salmon halfway through cooking).

Season the salmon with kosher salt and place the fillets skin side down in the air fryer basket.

Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes, brush with more bang bang sauce halfway through.Note: This can be baked in a 400 degree oven on a baking sheet for 9 to 11 minutes.

Garnish with parsley if desired and serve with the bang bang sauce for dipping.

Bang Bang Chicken

In a medium bowl, whisk together your mayonnaise, honey, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and sesame seeds. Set aside.

Prepare your chicken by cutting it all into 1 inch cubes.

In a medium bowl, whisk together your milk and egg. In a separate bowl, whisk together your cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.

Place all your cubed chicken into the bowl of milk and egg, stir to coat completely. While the chicken is soaking in the milk mixture for a minute, heat your frying oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

Remove the chicken from the milk and egg mixture, allowing any excess liquid to drip off.

Pour your flour mixture into a large plastic bag, place all your soaked chicken into the bag, seal it up and shake the bag to coat the chicken completely with the flour mixture.

You may need to cook the chicken in a couple batches, remove the chicken from the bag and carefully place them into the hot oil.

Fry the chicken for about 3-4 minutes, rotating throughout to evenly cook. The chicken should be golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate to allow excess oil to drip off.

Once all the chicken is done, transfer it all into your bowl with the sauce and stir to coat each piece evenly.

Bang Bang Cauliflower is a delicious and healthy twist on the classic bang bang shrimp. Crispy cauliflower baked in the oven then tossed in a creamy sweet and spicy vegan mayo sauce. You can bake it in the oven or cook it in an air fryer!

Best Bang Bang Cauliflower

cashew vegan mayo or tofu mayonnaise

maple syrup

sriracha sauce

rice vinegar

cauliflower

organic unbleached all-purpose flour

Whisk all of the ingredients together in a small bowl. Place the bang bang sauce in the fridge while you make the cauliflower.

Prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking all of the ingredients together in a small bowl. Set it in the fridge while you make cauliflower.

Preheat your oven to 450˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

NOTE: If you haven&#8217;t prepared the vegan buttermilk do this now so it can sit for 1-2 minutes.

Add all of the dry ingredients, except for the panko breadcrumbs, to a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Pour in the buttermilk and whisk until it forms a smooth batter.

OPTIONAL: Stir a little extra sriracha into the batter to add a little kick.

Place the cauliflower florets into the batter and gently toss until they are all evenly coated. Add the panko breadcrumbs to the batter and stir again.

Set the battered cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer, it&#8217;s best if they don&#8217;t touch, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.

OPTIONAL

Once the Bang Bang cauliflower has finished baking toss it in a bowl with half of the Bang Bang sauce. Place the florets back on the baking tray and bake for 1-2 minutes. 

Remove from cauliflower from the oven, add to a bowl, and cover or drizzle with as much bang bang sauce as you like.

Blackstone Bang Bang Ramen Noodles

ramen noodles (any flavor, discard flavor pack)

Japanense mayo

sweet Thai chili sauce

Boil the ramen noodles according to package directions (do not add flavor packet). Drain and rinse the noodles very well with cold water so they don&#39;t get mushy.

Put the mayo, sweet chili sauce. and sriracha in a bowl. Stir until combined.

Preheat the griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add some cooking oil of choice and the onion. Cook 1 to 2 minutes and then add the garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and cooked noodles.

Cook the noodles on the griddle for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring and flipping with hibachi spatulas.

Add half of the bang bang sauce and cook 3 to 4 more minutes. Add the green onions and lemon juice, cook 1 to 2 more minutes.

Toss with the remaining bang bang sauce right before serving.

Prep the Salmon

Cut the salmon into individual portions if you want. Pat the salmon dry. Coat the salmon with the spice mix. Place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Make the Bang Bang Sauce

Mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Set half of it aside for after baking.

Bake the Salmon

Spread a small spoonful of sauce over the seasoned salmon pieces. Bake for 10 minutes towards the top of the oven. Then turn the broiler on for another 2-3 minutes, until your salmon looks golden brown and a bit caramelized on top.  

Serve the salmon over rice, with a vegetable of choice, and the reserved bang bang sauce + chili crisp drizzled over top! So easy and so good.
