This recipe uses only TWO INGREDIENTS - barbecue sauce and chicken (plus a little olive oil, salt, and pepper) - to make the crispiest, most perfectly glazed, sweet, sticky, and tender barbecue baked chicken you will ever have.

Two Ingredient Crispy Oven Baked BBQ Chicken

bbq sauce

extra-virgin olive oil (or canola oil)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Coat the chicken on all sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place the chicken skin side down on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.

Remove chicken from oven and turn the temperature of the oven up to 425 degrees.

Coat the top of the chicken with barbecue sauce using a basting brush. Use a spatula to flip the chicken over, being careful not to tear the skin. Baste the other side of the chicken, and place back in the oven for 7 minutes.

Remove from oven, baste top with barbecue sauce, and place back in oven for 7 more minutes.

Remove from the oven again and baste again, for a total of three times, and place back in oven for 7 more minutes.

If the chicken hasn't crisped and browned to your liking, move the oven rack up and broil the chicken for 3-5 minutes, until it's more crispy.

Two Ingredient Crispy Oven BBQ Chicken

Tender, juicy + cheesy chicken lathered with fresh herbs and roasted alongside baby potatoes, zucchini + cherry tomatoes.

Lemon Feta Sheet Pan Chicken + Veggies

chicken breast

lb baby potatoes (sliced down the middle)

zucchni (chopped)

squash

cherry tomatoes

feta cheese

olive oil

lemon juice

lemons

salt

tsp pepper (+ more for the veggies)

garlic powder

basil

parsley

tbsp

garlic

Preheat the oven to 425℉

After chopping all of the veggies, lay the chicken on the baking pan. Using a sharp knife score the chicken breast in a grid pattern, making sure you don&#39;t cut all the way through. I highly suggest tenderizing the chicken, by pounding it out on each side.

Layer the potatoes and veggies all around the chicken.  Season everything really well with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

In a small bowl, mix together the feta, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, basil + parsley.

Spread the feta mixture all over the chicken + veggies.

Top with a few lemon slices.

Drizzle the veggies with olive oil.

Roast for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165℉ with a thermometer. You may want to broil for the last 5 minutes to get a nice crust on the chicken + veggies.

Serve with fresh basil + more feta cheese on top! Enjoy!

The Best Crockpot BBQ Chicken (Easy Pulled Chicken)

barbecue sauce (We love sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ)

Italian dressing (I use this fat-free one)

Worcestershire sauce

light brown sugar (can reduce to 1/8 cup or omit if you prefer it less sweet)

onion powder

salt and black pepper,

First liberally spray the inside of a large crockpot or slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, or for less mess, use one of these awesome disposable liners.

Next, season your trimmed boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and place in the bottom of your crockpot.

In a medium size mixing bowl, add barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until combined.

Pour mixture evenly over chicken breasts, place the lid on the crockpot, and cook on high for 2.5-3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.

Use this meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165 degrees internal temperature.

Once fully cooked, you can either serve whole or use two forks to shred chicken. I like to shred it right in the crockpot to soak up all the extra chicken marinade and BBQ sauce.

Serve on buns for delicious BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches or serve on pizza, salad, tacos, nachos, over rice, or by itself. Enjoy!

I never would have thought of the Worcestershire sauce and the Italian dressing. They made it so good!

This was way better than pulled chicken recipes I’ve had before! I never would have thought of Italian dressing. I tripled the recipe for a party. It made enough sauce to set some aside, which is good because I hate thin, watery sauce. When chicken was done I removed it, ditched the juices, put chicken back in with the thick, yummy sauce I had set aside. (Just because I’m picky!) But the recipe itself I followed exactly, though I didn’t triple the Worchestershire sauce bc it smelled pretty strong. Make this!

I gave this recipe to my daughter to make for our family dinner night. We liked it so much I’m making it again today. Thinking of leaving the chicken whole this time. This is an excellent BBQ chicken. I will recommend to all my friends.! Thank you for sharing ❤️

The Best Crockpot BBQ Chicken (Easy BBQ Chicken Sandwiches)

This no-fuss BBQ chicken recipe is a must-try at your next summer cookout!

BBQ Chicken Recipe

BBQ sauce ((240 milliliters))

Preheat the grill to low (350°F).

In a small bowl, stir together the salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels and rub the oil all over each piece. Sprinkle the spice mix all over the chicken.

Place the chicken pieces skin-side up on the hot grill. Close the lid and grill for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and grill, covered, for another 10 minutes. Continue to grill the chicken, flipping every 10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Total cooking time will be 35 to 40 minutes.

Brush one side of the chicken with BBQ sauce and cook, covered, for 3 minutes. Flip the chicken and brush the other side with more BBQ sauce. Cook another 3 minutes, covered, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from grill and rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra BBQ sauce.
