These Buttered Noodles are a quick and easy 20-minute dinner! Tender pappardelle pasta is tossed in a simple yet decadent butter and herb sauce and finished off with a sprinkle of fresh black pepper.

Easy Buttered Noodles

pappardelle ((or any other pasta) about 8-9 oz)

salted butter

pasta water

Parmesan cheese

parsley

black pepper

Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat and salt well (at least 1 teaspoon of salt).

Add pasta and bring back to a boil, reduce heat to medium-high (high enough to maintain a boil but not boil over). Cook, stirring often, until pasta is al dente (or to desired tenderness).

Turn off heat and reserve 1 cup pasta water.

Drain remaining water.

To the pot with the pasta, add the butter, a small splash of reserved pasta water, Parmesan and parsley. Stir until butter is melted, adding additional pasta water so that the sauce comes together and coats the noodles. Season with salt if necessary and freshly cracked black pepper.

Easy buttered noodles with butter, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs. Use parmesan cheese or swap it for other flavorful cheeses like sharp cheddar or Gruyere. Stirring in a little goat cheese or mascarpone cheese adds even more creaminess to the sauce.

Buttered Noodles

egg noodles ((see note 1))

butter ((1/2 stick,

Salt and black pepper ((see note 3))

In a large pot over high heat, bring 4 quarts water and 1 tablespoon salt to boil. Add noodles and cook until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain well.

Off heat, add butter to pot. Add drained noodles and toss until butter is melted and noodles are evenly coated. Season to taste with salt and pepper (I like 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper). Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.

Fill a large pot with water and season generously with salt.

Bring the water to a boil and add the egg noodles. Cook the noodles until al dente according to the package instructions.

Drain the pasta and return to the pot.

Add the butter to the pasta and stir until melted.

Stir in the garlic powder, parmesan, salt and pepper.

Ingredients
▢1 pound fresh asparagus, rinsed and woody ends trimmed
▢1 tbsp olive oil
▢1 tsp kosher salt
▢1 tsp black pepper
▢1 cup panko bread crumbs
▢3 tbsp melted butter
▢1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
▢1 garlic clove, minced
▢1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Toss the asparagus with the olive oil to coat.
Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet being sure to leave room in between the stalks to they roast and don't steam.
Season the asparagus with salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the panko, butter, cheese, garlic and garlic powder.
Sprinkle the panko mixture evenly over the asparagus. Transfer to the oven.
Bake the asparagus for 10-12 minutes or until tender and the topping is golden brown.
Serve immediately.

Garlic Parmesan Baked Asparagus

Easy buttered noodles made with grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, and plenty of butter. It&#39;s the ultimate pasta pleasure!

Buttered Noodles For One

Bring a medium sized pot of water with 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt to a boil over high heat. Cook for 5 minutes. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking liquid and drain the pasta.

Place the pasta in a bowl. Melt the butter in the same saucepan; add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally for 1 minute, until the garlic begins to brown slightly. Remove from heat.

Add the cooked pasta and the pasta water to the pan. Using tongs or a fork toss the pasta with the butter until the noodles are well coated. Add Parmesan and stir. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Simple, buttery, Parmesan cheesy goodness, these Buttered Noodles are so rich and comforting with the perfect touch of fresh parsley for added herb flavor. It’s a one-pot recipe that only requires 4 ingredients and can be made in under 20 minutes!

Boil the egg noodles:

Boil the egg noodles: Fill a large pot halfway full with water and then add about a tablespoon of salt. Now, bring the water to a boil, add the egg noodles, and cook them for about 5 minutes. 

Reserve cooking water and drain:

Reserve cooking water and drain: First reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water. Then drain the noodles using a colander and set them aside.

Melt the butter:

Melt the butter: Add the salted butter to the same pot you cooked the noodles in and melt it over medium heat. Then add about half of the reserved noodle water and stir to combine.

Add the noodles, cheese, and parsley:

Add the noodles, cheese, and parsley: Add the cooked noodles to the butter mixture along with the Parmesan cheese, and fresh chopped parsley. Then stir to combine. If the noodles are dry add more reserved noodle cooking water a little at a time as needed. Once you have reached your desired consistency, taste the buttered noodles and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Garnish and serve:

Garnish and serve: Transfer the buttered noodles to your favorite serving dish and then top with more grated Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley. This dish is best served warm right after being cooked.

lb. Fettucine

olive oil

garlic cloves, sliced

red pepper flakes

parmigiano reggiano, grated

lemon, juiced

fresh parsley, minced

black pepper,

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cooking fettuccine until al dente. Reserve 3/4 cup of salty pasta water and drain.

Place empty pot over medium heat with olive oil, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. When garlic starts to turn golden, add in cooked pasta, pasta water and parmigiana.

Reduce heat to low, toss pasta until sauce comes together and coats each noodle.

Finish with lemon juice, parsley and black pepper.
