Easy Caesar Dressing Recipe!

Grate the garlic, or finely mince it. Grate the Parmesan cheese as finely as possible (it&#8217;s helpful to use a microplane or the fine holes on a grater). Juice the lemon.

Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl. Store refrigerated (keeps at least 1 week).

Make the dressing

Grate the Parmesan cheese as finely as possible (it’s helpful to use a microplane or the finest holes in a grater). Grate the garlic, or finely mince it. Juice the lemon. Whisk together all the dressing ingredients in a bowl. Store refrigerated (keeps at least 1 week).

Prep the romaine and avocado

Wash and dry the romaine. Cut each romaine heart in half lengthwise. Drizzle each side liberally with olive oil. To the top, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and add several pinches kosher salt and plenty of fresh ground black pepper.

Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits (see the video for safe pit removal). Season the cut sides of the avocado halves lightly with kosher salt and lightly drizzle with olive oil.

Grill the romaine and avocado

Place the romaine hearts on the grill, and grill for about 3 minutes on each side, until slightly charred. Grill the avocado halves cut sides down for 4 to 6 minutes total, until grill marks form.

To serve, place romaine halves on individual plates or a serving platter. Garnish with Caesar dressing, chopped cherry tomatoes, dollops of avocado, and Parmesan shavings. Serve with steak knives to make it easy to cut!

5-Minute Vegan Caesar Dressing

plain hummus

tsp spicy mustard

lemon juice,

capers

olive oil ((optional //

maple syrup ((optional))

To a small mixing bowl, add hummus, spicy mustard, lemon zest + juice, minced capers + brining juice, and minced garlic, and whisk thoroughly to combine. Olive oil is optional, but will add a bit more creaminess.

Add a little hot water to thin until pourable and whisk until creamy and smooth (see photo). Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more salt and pepper, lemon juice, or minced garlic if desired! Maple syrup will help offset how salty and briney this dressing is, if you find you need it (I did not).

Use immediately, or store in the refrigerator up to 5-7 days.

This dressing is delicious on kale, romaine, and arugula. It would also be great on roasted vegetables, especially Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Top with a little vegan parmesan cheese for the ultimate Caesar salad experience.

Tri-Color Pasta Salad

Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water according to package directions. Drain and coat with the Caesar dressing while still warm.

Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the pine nuts and extra basil. Toss well to combine. Add additional salt and pepper to taste, if needed.

Refrigerate until ready to serve (4-8 hours). If the pasta salad seems dry after refrigerating, add a little more Caesar dressing and stir to combine. Before serving, top with pine nuts and fresh basil, if desired.

Homemade Caesar dressing is simple to make and can be done a few different ways: by hand, in a blender, in a food processor or by using an immersion blender. All methods are simple and quick. I particularly love doing this by hand and enjoy seeing little bits of the garlic and anchovy in the dressing.

I made this for company last night and it was a huge hit! Goes really well with romaine and radicchio mix. Only changes were that I doubled the garlic and used a very light tasting olive oil for my neutral oil. The egg yolk makes the sauce  creamy  but doesn't overpower on the creamy like mayonnaise based dressing.

Thank you for the recipe. It worked well and was quite simple. I will make it again, however I found the lemon and garlic too sharp and will next time use half the amount of garlic and sub cider vinegar for the lemon juice.

Place the egg yolks, mustard, garlic, anchovies, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process until smooth.

With the food processor running, slowly pour the olive oil through the feed tube (as though you were making mayonnaise), until thick.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and pulse 3 times.

In a medium bowl, whisk to combine the egg yolks, lemon juice, anchovy paste, dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper, for about 30 seconds, until smooth.

While whisking constantly, add a couple drops of olive oil, then slowly drizzle in more in a steady stream, keeping in mind that you don't want to add the oil too fast. Aim to distribute the addition of the oil over 60-90 seconds of whisking.

At this point, the dressing should have a thick texture. Gently stir in the cheese, then place the dressing in the fridge until ready to use for Caesar Salad.

chicken thighs (1-1/2 lb.)

Add hot water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened.

Place chicken in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with dry seasonings.

Combine corn and dressing; spoon over chicken. Top with stuffing; cover.

Bake 40 to 45 min. or until chicken is done (165°F), uncovering after 30 min.

Den Salat in grobe Stücke schneiden, gründlich waschen und im Sieb abtropfen lassen.

Den Parmesan reiben oder hobeln.

Für das Dressing Naturjoghurt, Mayonnaise und Senf in eine kleine Schüssel geben. Zitrone (2 TL Saft) und Knoblauchzehe pressen. Zusammen mit etwas frisch gemahlenem Pfeffer hinzugeben. Alles gut miteinander verrühren und kurz ziehen lassen.

Das Weißbrot in Würfel schneiden. In einer Pfanne etwas Öl erhitzen und die Brotwürfel bei mittlerer Hitze zu knusprig braunen Crouton anrösten. Dazu gebe ich noch 1 – 2 Zehen Knoblauch. Je nachdem wieviel Öl das Brot aufsaugt, kippe ich noch etwas Öl nach.

Salat in eine Schüssel geben und gut mit dem Dressing vermengen. Die Hälfte des Parmesans dazugeben. Den Salat auf zwei Portionen verteilen und die knusprigen Knoblauch-Croutons sowie den restlichen Parmesan darüber geben.
