Eggnog Bread with Rum Glaze is a tasty holiday recipe you can have for breakfast or a sweet treat. This goes really well with a warm mug of coffee or hot cocoa.

Eggnog Bread with Rum Glaze

eggs

full-fat eggnog

spiced rum

sugar

vanilla extract

butter

all-purpose flour

vanilla pudding mix

baking powder

kosher salt

nutmeg

cinnamon

tbsp. spiced rum

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 5 inch bread pan with baking spray.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine eggs, eggnog, spiced rum, granulated sugar, vanilla extract. and softened butter and beat until combined.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, French vanilla pudding mix, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon and whisk until combined.

Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the stand mixer on low speed and mix just until combined.

Pour batter into the prepared bread pan and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Allow bread to cool.

Bread Directions:

Whisk together all glaze ingredients until smooth.

Drizzle over the bread.

Set up a double boiler by placing a medium heatproof bowl over a small pot of simmering water. Add chocolate chips and heavy cream and stir until melted.&nbsp;

Turn off heat and stir in Baileys and salt. Refrigerate until chocolate mixture is firm enough to roll into balls, about 1 hour.&nbsp;

In a medium heatproof bowl, microwave white chocolate and coconut oil together in 20-second intervals until melted.

Using a small cookie scoop, roll chocolate into 1-inch balls then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using a fork, dip each truffle into white chocolate, turning to coat. Place back on baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.&nbsp;

Terrible recipe. The semisweet chocolate was still liquid after an hour in the fridge and when left longer was impossible to shape. Once it was dipped into the white chocolate it immediately began to melt and discolour the white chocolate. I'm honestly mad at the ingredients I wasted trying to follow this impossible recipe.

I have made these a few times, they are amazing! A definite crowd pleaser.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line a 10x15 inch baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

Place your saltine crackers in even rows and set aside.

In a saucepan over medium high heat melt the butter and brown sugar and whisk and let it boil for a few minutes.

Pour. over the. saltines and spread out and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.  Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and let it sit.

Spread the chocolate over the Saltines and sprinkle with chopped pecans and let it harden. Cut into pieces and serve

If you don't feel like eating peppermints, turn them into super cute and easy ornaments.

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat the insides of metal cookie cutters with nonstick cooking spray and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange peppermint candies (breaking them for smaller cutters) inside the cutters) there should be space between the candies). 

Bake until the candies have melted, 5 to 6 minutes. Let the candies cool for 1 minute, then, with a greased skewer, make a small hole in the candy. Let cool completely, then gently pop out of the mold.

Santa Hat Brownies are a cute Christmas dessert made with a box of brownie mix and decorated with a fresh fruit and whipped cream hat. Quick and easy to make, they&#039;re the perfect bite-size sweet treat for holiday parties and cookie platters.

Santa Hat Brownies

dark chocolate brownie mix

(1 stick) salted butter (melted)

milk

strawberries

whipped cream

Sprinkles or clear sanding sugar (optional garnish)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and generously grease two mini muffin tins with cooking spray.

Mix together the brownie mix, eggs, melted butter and milk in a large mixing bowl until smooth, about 2 minutes.

Pour the brownie mix into the mini muffin tins, filling each “brownie” about ¾ of the way full.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the brownies are beginning to get firm on the edges and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

Remove the brownie from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

While the brownies are cooling, rinse and dry the strawberries and then use a paring knife to cut the stem and top bit of each strawberry off. You want them to have a flat surface that allows them to “stand”.

Once the brownies are cooled, remove them from the tin by gently swiveling them back and forth in the tin until they come loose. Use a spatula or plastic knife to loosen the edges only if absolutely necessary.

Use the can of whipped cream to pipe a circle around the top edge of each brownie.

Place 1 strawberry on each brownie, on top of the whipped topping creating the hat.

Finish each hat with a small dollop of whipped topping and sprinkle with sprinkles or clear sanding sugar, optional.

Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

Line an 8 by 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil. (I do find that parchment paper works a little better - see notes in the pos for more details.) Set aside.

In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, melt the peanut butter chips with the sweetened condensed milk, stirring consistenly. Make sure the heat is not too high and you continue to scrape the bottom of the pan to prevent burning.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the peanut butter and the vanilla extract.

Pour into the prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and let set for four hours. This can be done in the refrigerator for easy cutting later or on the coutnertop.

When ready to cut, remove the fudge from the parchment paper. Trim off just enough of the edges to make straight smooth edges. (Or don&#x27;t! This is only for looks.) Cut the remaining block in half one way and then the other way so you have four large squares. Each square can be cut in thirds one way and then thirds the other way so that each of the squares yields 9 pieces.

Store the fudge in an airtight container for up to two weeks. Or eat immediately.

Peppermint Bark Cookies

(10 ounces) Grasshopper Cookies

peppermint extract (optional, NOT mint)

Place the cookies in the fridge just while preparing the chocolate. Crush the candy canes in a blender or food processor to get crumbs. Prepare a large sheet pan by covering it with parchment paper.

Pour the chocolate chips into a large microwave safe bowl. Add in the vegetable oil and peppermint extract. (Add extract for an extra peppermint-y treat!) Mix well.

Microwave in bursts of 20 second stirring in between each burst for about 10-15 seconds until the chocolate is melted.

Patiently and slowly melting the chocolate will ensure you don't burn it. To make it easier, you can separate the white chocolate into 2 batches and only melt one at a time!

Remove the cookies from the freezer and place one cookie on a fork over the bowl of melted chocolate. Use a spoon to spoon chocolate over the cookie and fork.

Tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.

Transfer the dipped cookie onto the prepared sheet pan.

Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes over top. Repeat for all the cookies.

If desired, dip just half a cookie in the melted chocolate for some fun variety!

Let the cookies harden at room temperature.
