These are coated &amp; battered cauliflower cooked to a crisp coated in a spicy and slightly sweet glaze! The cauliflower can either be baked or fried.

Korean Gochujang Cauliflower

gochujang (korean chili paste)

water

ketchup

soy sauce

tsp rice vinegar (or distilled white vinegar)

tsp minced garlic

cornstarch

450 g raw cauliflower florets ((1 lb,

Neutral oil (for frying)

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for topping)

all-purpose flour

tsp baking powder

salt

breadcrumbs (or more as needed)

Sauce: Mix all the sauce ingredients together. Feel free to adjust to your desired taste.

For the batter: In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the batter until it turns into a smooth, thick consistency.

For the coating: In another bowl or plate, add in the bread crumbs.

One by one, dip each cauliflower in the batter and transfer into the breadcrumbs. Coat well using one hand (this is to avoid messy hands—I usually use one hand for dry and one hand for wet when coating cauliflower).

Press down the bread crumbs on the cauliflower. Set aside once coated.

Repeat this for the rest of the florets until all are coated.

(Baking option below)Heat a frying pan with enough oil to submerge at least half of the cauliflowers. You can test out the heat of the oil by placing some bread crumbs. If it bubbles and is hot, place the cauliflower florets and cook until golden brown, moving it around on each side every 2 minutes or so.

Once golden brown, set aside on a strainer to drain excess oil or you can put this on a plate with paper towels.

Remove the oil from the pan. In the same pan, place heat over medium. Give the sauce another good mix to make sure the starch doesn&#039;t stick at the bottom.Add in the sauce and leave to simmer over medium heat, mixing constantly until it thickens, around 2 to 3 minutes.

Once the sauce thickens, lower the heat and place the fried/baked cauliflower. Mix to coat in the sauce.**Another option: You can also opt to enjoy the sauce as a dip!

Enjoy while hot! Garnish with some sesame seeds and green onions, if desired.

Heat oven to 350F. Bake the cauliflower for 35-40 minutes or until crisp. I recommend brushing these with some oil.Flip halfway through cooking. Note that these will of course not turn as golden brown as when fried, but still crisp.

KOREAN GOCHUJANG CAULIFLOWER | Vegan, Vegetarian Recipe

This crispy breaded cauliflower is salty, tangy, sweet, and spicy all at once! It's 100% plant based and 100% delicious.

Crispy Breaded Cauliflower

cauliflower (about 2 pounds whole)

panko breadcrumbs (use gluten free panko as necessary)

cornmeal

cumin

smoked paprika

garlic powder

turmeric

refined coconut oil

peanut butter

maple syrup

soy sauce (or tamari or coconut aminos)

hot sauce

Chop the cauliflower into large florets. Place them in a large bowl.

In a small bowl, mix together the panko, cornmeal, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, and kosher salt.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the coconut oil, peanut butter, maple syrup, soy sauce, and hot sauce until fully combined and slightly darkened, 1 to 2 minutes. Pour the sauce onto the cauliflower and stir several times until the cauliflower is well coated.

Pour about 1/3 of the dry mixture into the bowl with the cauliflower and mix. Repeat twice to stir in the remaining dry mixture to coat all of the cauliflower. Then remove the breaded cauliflower from the bowl with your hands and place it onto a parchment lined baking sheet. About 1/2 of the crumbs will remain in the bowl; you can discard these.

Bake the cauliflower for 30 minutes total, flipping the cauliflower with a spatula at the 15 minute mark. Serve immediately. If serving as an appetizer, you could add a drizzle of Yum Yum sauce or another sauce. Or, kids love them with ketchup! (If you have leftovers, you can store them refrigerated and then reheat them in a 350F oven on a parchment lined baking sheet for about 10 minutes, flipping once.)

Air Fryer Cauliflower Wings Recipe

cauliflower

all purpose flour (or use gluten free flour)

Cornstarch

Milk

Panko breadcrumbs (add more as needed for breading)

Start by making the batter for the cauliflower. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, olive oil and just enough milk to make a thick, yet runny batter. Batter should be thinner than pancake batter, and thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Add in the cauliflower pieces and mix well, to coat the cauliflower in the batter.

Then transfer each cauliflower to a plate with panko breadcrumbs. Dredge the pieces to coat evenly in the breadcrumbs.

Optional step - After dredging, place them on a rack to let the excess batter drip off.

Preheat your air fryer at 390 F for 5 minutes.

Then take out the air fryer basket and place the breaded cauliflower in a single layer. Do not crowd the basket, else the cauliflower will not crisp up properly.

Air fry at 390 F for 20 minutes. At the 10 minute mark, take out the basket and flip the cauliflower so that they air fry evenly. Continue to air fry.

Optional step - At the 15-minute mark, I like to take out the basket and brush the cauliflower pieces with some olive oil to make them brown evenly.

Once the air frying cycle is over, transfer the air-fried cauliflower bites into a large mixing bowl.

To make the crispy air fried cauliflower

Mix together the hot sauce, melted butter, honey in a bowl and pour this mixture over the breaded cauliflower. Toss the bowl, coating the cauliflower nicely with the sauce.

Your air fryer buffalo cauliflower wings are now ready. Serve them with a side of homemade ranch dressing.

So I made these but the coating did not stick onto the cauliflower..how the heck do you guys get it to stay on. I did pat it on with my hands and it would not stick. The crumbs just clumped up.
So I ended just putting little piles of crumb on each cauliflower floret. It tasted good but I know this was not what the recipe intended. 
Any ideas on getting the crumb to stay on.And yes, I did remember put it in egg first.

Cauliflower bites&nbsp;are coated in a low carb keto breading. These can be baked, fried or cooked in an air fryer. The breading tastes just as good as flour or breadcrumb breading!

Crispy Low Carb Keto Cauliflower Bites

cooking oil (for frying)

eggs (whisked)

heavy cream

almond flour

cheese

tsp smoked paprika

tsp cayenne pepper (optional if you like a little spice

In a small bowl, whisk eggs with heavy cream. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper. Set aside.

Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.&nbsp;Spoon a small amount of breading onto your sheet pan (just enough to cover the bottom of a cauliflower bite).

Dip a piece of cauliflower in the egg wash. After it is fully coated, shake it a few times, making sure to shake off any excess egg drippings back into the egg bowl before adding it to the breading. The reason for doing this is that you don't want the egg drippings going into the breading. The moisture will cause the breading to clump and they will no longer stick to the cauliflower.

Place the cauliflower piece onto the small mound of bread crumbs, applying a little pressure so those breading sticks to the bottom of the cauliflower.

Wipe your hand that was holding the cauliflower so that your hand is also dry before touching the breading. Spoon a small amount of breading over the cauliflower and then use your fingers to press the breading onto the cauliflower until it is fully coated. It is important to keep the breading in a separate bowl, to prevent it from getting wet.

Carefully set the cauliflower aside onto a clean part of your baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cauliflower.

To deep fry the cauliflower, pour 1 1/2 inches of cooking oil into a pot. When the oil reaches 350F, add a few pieces of breaded cauliflower. You may need to stir the cauliflower a few times to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Cook a few minutes until a deep golden brown. Remove cauliflower with a slotted spoon and place onto a paper towel lined plate. Repeat with remaining cauliflower.

Deep Fry

Spray the basket of your air fryer with cooking oil spray to prevent cauliflower from sticking. Place cauliflower in a single layer into basket, spacing them about 1/2 inch apart. You may need to split the cauliflower in more than one batch. Spray the surface of the cauliflower before closing your air fryer. Coating the outside in oil will help the breading crisp up and brown. Set your air fryer to 375F. Cook for about 12 minutes or until crispy.

Air Fry

Preheat your oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cauliflower pieces on baking sheet in a single layer, spacing about 1/2 inch apart. Spray surface of cauliflower with cooking oil spray. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until cauliflower coating is crispy.

Bake

One of my favourite snacks! Crispy from the outside but soft on the inside. It&#039;s such a good way to get your veggies! You won&#039;t even taste the cauliflower anymore.

Crispy Cauliflower

Preheat the oven at 220 °C or Airfryer on 180 °C.

Cut the cauliflower in big pieces and put them in a big bowl.

Add the cornstarch to the cauliflower. Make sure every piece is covered.

Drizzle the oil on the cauliflower. Again make sure every piece is covered.

Grind the tortilla chips in a blender. Add them to the cauliflower together with the spices. Mix it.

Place the cauliflower on an oven tray or in the air fryer. Bake for 15 minutes. (Or longer if you want them more crispy). Make sure to turn them every 5 minutes.

Serve a dip made from mayonaise and sriracha.

Crispy Cauliflower Fritter Bites + Savory Sautéed Collard Greens + Southern Style Sweet Tea

Cook Cauliflower

Wash cauliflower and have kids break it into bite-sized florets. 

Crack eggs into a small bowl. Add 1 Tbs water and 1 tsp salt, whisk again. Set aside.

Measure and combine flour, ground black pepper, the other 1 tsp salt, paprika, and garlic powder in a gallon-sized plastic Ziploc bag. Seal shut and shake shake shake quickly to mix the seasonings into the flour.

Pour the egg mixture into a separate gallon-sized plastic Ziploc bag. Add the cauliflower florets. Seal the bag tightly and have kids shake the bag to coat the cauliflower in egg.

Use a big slotted spoon or tongs, scoop out the cauliflower florets from the egg Ziploc and transfer to the flour Ziploc. Seal the bag tightly and shake to coat the cauliflower in flour.

In a frying pan on your stovetop, heat enough oil to fry the cauliflower. Using tongs, place the cauliflower bites from the flour Ziploc into the frying pan. Be careful as oil may splatter! Fry until they are crispy on all sides about 5-10 minutes turning as necessary.

Once cauliflower bites are nice and crispy, transfer them to a plate and let cool before eating!

Cook Collards

Chop collard green leaves into small pieces. Heat butter in a skillet on your stovetop and swirl it around until it all melts.

Add chopped collards and vinegar to the butter and stir. Add 1/4 cup water and let the collards steam as the water evaporates.

Sauté on low heat and sprinkle with a pinch of sugar, salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Let collards soften and wilt for a few minutes and enjoy.

Make Iced Tea

Boil 4 cups water in a saucepot on your stovetop. When the water is boiling, add sugar and stir until sugar has dissolved, forming a simple syrup. Once the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat.

Add the bags of decaf tea to the simple syrup, gently swirling them around as the tea begins to steep into the liquid. Let the tea steep for 5-10 minutes, then remove bags and carefully pour the tea into a pitcher.

Add 2 cups cold water and then serve over ice!

Air fryer them at 390°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes or until slightly brown and crisp. Shake the basket halfway through. Mine was cooked perfectly in 12 minutes.

Roasted Cauliflower is ready. Remove in a serving plate, squeeze some lime juice and serve it immediately with a tasty dipping sauce on the side.
