One of the easiest candy recipes ever! No candy thermometer, just a few basic ingredients and a slow cooker needed! My version of these peanut clusters or &quot;crockpot candy&quot; uses chocolate, nuts, and marshmallows!

Rocky Road Peanut Clusters (Crockpot Candy)

lb lightly salted dry roasted peanuts (about 4 cups (450 grams))

vanilla almond bark (broken into pieces (910 grams))

oz semisweet chocolate chips (340 grams)

chocolate

oz mini marshmallows (about 4-5 cups (280 grams))

Sprinkles (optional)

Layer peanuts evenly into the bottom of your crockpot. Add almond bark, chocolate chips, and dark chocolate bar on top.

Cover with lid and cook on low heat for one hour.

Remove lid and stir well. If all of the chocolate isn't completely melted, continue to cook uncovered on low heat, stirring occasionally, for another 15-30 minutes (or as long as is needed until chocolate is melted).

Turn off heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Add mini marshmallows and stir briefly, just until marshmallows are coated in chocolate and combined (if you stir too much you will melt your marshmallows, you want them to pretty much maintain their shape).

Immediately use a 1 1/2 Tablespoon sized cookie scoop (or two large spoons) and scoop candy by heaping 1 1/2 Tablespoon onto a wax paper lined cookie sheet (you'll need several, this makes a lot of candy).

Top with sprinkles, if desired, then allow candy to set before enjoying (about 30-60 minutes).

Store candy in an airtight container at room temperature.

How to Make Crockpot Candy

Crockpot Candy is made with two kinds of chocolate, almond bark, peanuts, and peanut butter chips, all melted and blended together in a slow cooker.

Crockpot Candy

(16 ounces) salted peanuts

jar (16 ounces) unsalted peanuts

(12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips

bar (8 ounces) German chocolate baking bar

peanut butter chips

(2, 24 ounce packages) white almond bark

sprinkles, (for garnish (optional))

sea salt, (for garnish (optional))

In the crockpot, add all the ingredients.

In the bowl of a crockpot, add salted peanuts, unsalted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, German chocolate, peanut butter chips, and almond bark.

Cook on low heat for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Place the lid on the crockpot and set it to low heat.

Leave the mixture undisturbed for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Remove lid. Stir.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add dollops of the mixture.

vanilla-flavored candy coating (Almond Bark or CandiQuik)

Layer peanuts and then vanilla candy coating into a 5-quart crockpot. Cover with lid and cook on Low for 1 hour without lifting the lid. After 1 hour, remove the lid and stir the mixture. Cover again and continue to cook, stirring every 15-20 minutes, for another hour (a total of 2 hours).

Meanwhile, line 3 cookie sheets with Silpat mats or line countertop or table with a long piece of parchment paper.

Turn off the crockpot. Reserve 1/2 cup M&amp;M&#39;s.

Turtle chocolates are an easy holiday treat that you won’t be able to stop eating! Make this crock pot candy recipe with just 5 ingredients.

German chocolate bar (by Baker's) (1/2 bar)

Layer pecans, then candy coating, then chocolate bar into crockpot (I used a 5 quart). Cover. Cook for 1 hour on low temperature. Do not stir. After 1 hour stir mixture and continue to cook, stirring every 15-20 minutes for another hour (a total of 2 hours). Once mixture has completely come together, stir in caramel bits and turn off the heat. Cover for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile line counter top or table with a long piece of parchment paper.

Stir. Use 2 table spoons to scoop out candy from crockpot and scoop it onto parchment paper. Make sure candy is not touching.

Meanwhile, melt 2 cups chocolate chips and chop 1/2 cup pecans. Drizzle over turtles and garnish with chopped pecans.

Christmas Peanut Clusters Crockpot Candy

(12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips ((about 2 cups))

almond bark ((two 24-ounce packages))

Add the peanuts to the bottom of a large slow cooker. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, chopped German chocolate baking bar, and peanut butter chips on top. Break up the almond break and add that on top of everything, then cover with the lid.

Cook on LOW heat for 2 hours without stirring.

Remove the lid and stir well until everything is smooth.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles, if using, before the chocolate has a chance to harden. Let cool until completely set up and firm before storing.

I love this recipe. I made it first about 5 years ago to give to friends and family for Christmas. They loved it!  I don't usually cook in a Crockpot but it worked beautifully. Then I tried making it each year after but the 3rd year it seemed "burned" but people loved it anyway. Ditto 4th year. A few months ago I decided to try and figure out why it wasn't the same as the first two years. Discovered that the medium temperature on my Crockpot wasn't working and I was cooking it on high the entire time!  I now have a new Crockpot so I can again make this delicious candy for my friends and family. I recommend the recipe to anyone who likes chocolate, and be sure to give to your favorite people. They will love you for it!

Unquestionably good, and it's so simple. We make this as a holiday food gift for friends every year!

My german chocolate bar was not unsweetened. It was 40% and it still tasted great. That was the only German chocolate they had in the store. The blend of the 3 chocolates was much better than just the almond bark by itself
