This was a treat I discovered in lockdown, and brought yummy chewy comfort to difficult days. Still such an easy, quick, delicious treat when I want one.

I would give 10 stars if I could. This recipe is perfectly portioned for my 2 person household. And the results are decadent with gorgeous crinkly tops and such deep flavor. Chocolate lovers dream.

Can you replace the vegetable oil with plat butter? If you can what are the measurements? My husband and I are OBSESSED with these! Beyond five stars!!

These brownies are so amazing! Also love that they are made with olive oil and not coconut because ain’t nobody got time for melting/cleaning that off spoons etc haha. I have made these with both wheat flour and GF (Edmonds plain) flour and both results were great! GF was best the next day/fully cooled imo.

I love a dairy free recipe :) Even better is a dairy free recipe that doesn't taste dairy-free! Not lacking in anything, these were so tasty and I adore the small batch size

I made 3 batches of these using Orgran vegan egg replacer. An egg is usually 1tsp powder and 2 tbsp water. I used 2 tsp of powder as after whisking the sugar and "egg" with just 1 there was little change. I dont think it thickened much, I certainly had no cracking on the tops. I wonder if its worth trying with aquafaba? I made 1 with Bakels gf mix, this was the driest and baked the best. The second I made with a mix of freshly milled wheat and toasted malted wheat. The 3rd with freshly milled buckwheat. The latter was the wettest and probably needed longer baking as it was quite oily and really not baked in the middle. that said, the buckwheat was my favourite. I'd say using vegan egg replacer and gf flour worked the best though. love the small recipe format so I could try 3 different ones!

These are my go-to if we need a sweet treat in the evening as they are so delicious and easy to whip up not least because they use so many staple ingredients.

I LOVE that the recipe comes in grams, finally some accurate baking.

Just made these for the umpteenth time with my four year old. He loves making them (and licking the bowl and spoon at the end of course) and knows the ingredients off by heart. Best brownie recipe ever.

I have been on the search for a delicious dairy free brownie for so long and these tick all the boxes! They are so delicious and easy to make, they are on repeat rotation for us now.

Have made these many times and they always turn out so delicious. The edges are perfectly crunchy and the inside is soft. yum yum yum!!

This was such an easy quick recipe to scratch that brownie itch! Made in a loaf pan, perfect size.

Fantastic recipe! Really, really, really tasty brownies, easy to make & work perfectly everytime.

Recently became friends with someone that has a major dairy allergy and have made these a few times. Great brownie - I add different toppings to keep interesting but amazing by themselves. Even subbed the flour for GF and was the best allergy friendly brownie I have ever had.

I made these today, and it is the best brownie recipe I’ve ever made! It fit perfectly into a little heart shaped Le Creuset skillet and baked up so fudgy and moist! I used black cocoa, then skipped adding the chocolate and instead drizzled it with melted ruby chocolate once cooled. The perfect little Valentine treat for my little niece and nephew. Your recipes always come out perfectly- thanks to the accuracy of measuring!!! ❤️

These are amazing! I ran out of olive oil so I subbed vegetable oil-still delicious! The perfect chewy brownie

Hi Erin! The olive oil in the recipe is not available where I live(I am from India). Can I use 60g coconut oil instead? Thanks!

Quick, easy, and stupidly tasty. I used a chia egg and a bit of baking powder to make it vegan. A solid 15/10 👏

These super fudgy dairy-free brownies are the ultimate easy-to-make chocolate dessert. Cocoa powder and coconut oil give these brownies a moist and gooey texture with a decadent dark chocolate taste. The crackly tops make them such an irresistible treat for all chocolate lovers, and they're so quick and easy to make!

Fudgy Dairy Free Brownies

coconut oil ((or vegetable oil))

brown sugar (packed)

sugar

all-purpose flour ((or gluten-free flour)*)

cocoa powder ((dutch processed preferred)**)

Preheat the oven and prepare a 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch aluminum baking pan with parchment paper. Leave parchment paper hanging over the sides of the pan so that you can easily remove the brownies later.

Whisk together the oil and sugars.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture resembles a paste that pulls away cleanly from the side of the bowl.

Add the eggs and vanilla extract.

Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

Gently mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

Add in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and whisk until just combined. A few flour specks are okay. Be careful not to over-mix the batter!

Transfer the brownie batter to the pan.

Transfer the brownie batter to the prepared baking pan. Make sure it is spread evenly in the pan and into the edges. Top with chocolate chips if desired.

Bake the brownies for 30-40 minutes.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. The top of the brownies should be crinkly. Be careful not to over-bake or they will be too dry.

Cool the brownies. Slice and serve.

Remove the dairy-free brownies from the oven and let them cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

These Pine Cone Brownies are seriously the cutest and make such a fun dessert to share around the holiday! They might look intimidating, but aren't too hard to make actually! You can use a boxed brownie mix to save some time as well. I made these gluten, dairy, egg, and refined sugar-free because I have food sensitivities. These would be the perfect dessert to make for the holidays or a fun activity to do with friends or your kiddos.

Viral Pine Cone Brownies

almonds(can sub with cereal flakes instead)

Sugar Monk fruit

Make your brownie mix accordingly to the instructions(make sure to not over bake them so they will be somewhat gooey in the middle and easy to work with) Bake your brownie mix and then let it cool down for a few minutes but don't let them cool down too much to where they harden.(about 10 minutes)

Take the baked brownie mixture and form into about 12 cone shapes. (Like you would for a cake pop!)

Place the almond slices (or cereal flakes) in and around the brownie cones(carefully because they are fragile), making the pine cone look full with "scales."

Place the pine cones on a parchment paper lined sheet pan, and stick them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil by heating in a bowl in the microwave in 30-second increments.(Or use a double boiler).

Take the pine cones out of the freezer and carefully coat each one with the melted chocolate. Place the pine cone brownies back on the parchment paper to set.

Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top for a frosted look and enjoy!

Delicious moist and fudgy Sweet Potato Brownie recipe that is made with all wholesome ingredients! These delicious brownies are flourless, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free, so you can feel great about this guilt-free treat!

Healthy Sweet Potato Brownies

potato

almond butter

maple syrup

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

tsp sea salt

Cook the sweet potato according to your preferred method. I chop mine into large chunks and boil it in water for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chunks of potato are very tender. Allow the potato to cool (I transfer it to a sealable container and refrigerate it). Once cool, remove and discard the peel. Note: you can cook the potato and refrigerate it up to 5 days in advance.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

Mash the sweet potato into a bowl or measuring cup and measure out 1 cup of mashed potato.

Add the mashed sweet potato to a large mixing bowl along with the almond butter, eggs, pure maple syrup and vanilla extract and stir well until everything is well-combined (wet ingredients).

Stir in the cocoa powder, baking soda, sea salt, and ground cinnamon until a thick creamy batter forms (no need for a separate bowl here).

Add in the chocolate chips and stir until they are well-incorporated into the batter.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it into an even layer. If desired, sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.

Bake on the center rack of the preheated oven for 23 to 28 minutes, or until the brownies reach desired level of doneness. For fudgy, gooey brownies, bake for 23 minutes. Brownies are best when baked to an internal temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Insert a digital thermometer into the center of the brownies and wait until the numbers stop moving to get an accurate read on their temperature.

Allow the brownies to cool completely (at least one hour) before slicing and serving. You can slice the brownies before they have finished cooling if you’d like, but the slices won’t hold together quite as well. If you’re fine with that, proceed!

Serve with a scoop of ice cream for an even more decadent dessert.

These are so yummy! I even cut the maple sugar by half and added cacao instead of cocoa powder and they were still sweet and tasty. This recipe is so functional that you can take liberties with it as it suits your own personal dietary needs. Thank you for sharing!
