This was super dry and felt like there was no flavor. Kinda disappointed! I won't be making these again.

These are not good. I have tried a lot of these cookies and these are lacking a peanut butter flavor and are very powdery and dry tasting. Huge disappointment as they take a lot of ingredients.

This is almost the exact recipe I made. My recipe is old and it said to use shortening. I decided to use butter for the heck of it. My recipe called for 1 tablespoon of milk. I decided to use up the fresh ground peanut butter from WFs and was short the amount by a 1/4 so I added the smooth I had to make up for it. There good but seem to need a little more peanut flavor. I’m either growing out of these cookies or I need to try the shortening recipe. I also used dark choc kisses and milk. I’m now a dark choc fan. I was wondering what would have been different if I added 2 T of milk? It’s really been years since I’ve made them. I see peanut powder in the store and was wondering if it would give it a boast of peanut flavor? I’ve never used it.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.&nbsp;

Add the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar to the bowl of a&nbsp;stand mixer&nbsp;and beat until well combined.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Dump in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined. Dough will be soft.

Stir in the dark and white chocolate chips and the&nbsp;sprinkles.

Portion dough into 9 large balls of dough.&nbsp;

Bake for 11 minutes exactly. Do not overbake. Cookies may look a bit underdone, but they will set up as they cool.

Let cookies set on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before eating.

Store, tightly covered, for up to 5 days.

Fabulous cookies! I have been baking cookies for 50+ years, so I know a good cookie recipe when I see one! These are not only delicious, but very pretty.  I used almond extract to replace vanilla, and refrigerated the dough for about 10 minutes to make it a little easier to handle.  My baking time was 11 minutes but I have a convection oven so that may make a difference.  LOVE THEM!!! Thank you

Love this recipe. My cookies come out perfectly every single time! I've made these using lemon curd, raspberry jam, cranberry-jalapeno jam (sounds EW I know, but OMG... SO GOOD), strawberry-guava jam (my FAVE, so far!), and strawberry-peach jam. I'm all set to take these to the next level by subbing the jam with a Hershey kiss center and a Reeses mini peanut butter cup center. Hope they turn out ok! I only wish I knew the right measurements to double this recipe so I'm not having to make multiple batches of dough... it is a rather small amount of dough!

I make my own jams, so today i will use strawberry, peach and triple crowns (combo of marionberry, blackberry and raspberries.  Yum Yum

Hi just baked these with jam, can I freeze them with jam?

I wanted to love these cookies, but there are a  few issues. 
I used salted butter, so they are too salty. The recipe should specify unsalted butter. 
Fresh from the oven they were light and crisp, but overnight they became soft. Perhaps they should have not been put in a plastic container. 
The light texture was nice just as they cooled.
Beyond this, they were fine, but not a lot of flavor.

DO NOT MAKE THESE.. I couldn't find my thumbprint recipe and just googled one.. this was awful. The fat /sugar/flower ratio is way off.

Wow!!! I made these tonight and they were AWESOME!!  I made 2 batches, the first batch I used Crisco Butter Flavor (just because it was getting a little old and I wanted to get rid of it) The 2nd batch I used half crisco half spreadable butter and it did make a more “wetter” dough that I actually liked a lot better because the cookies came out softer and chewier vs. crunchier and crumblier when using just the Crisco alone. I used raspberry preserves and they were just perfect. This recipe was so easy, I had all the ingredients already in my pantry. I’ll be making these in bulk to give out in cookie bins for Christmas to my family and friends. Thank you for such an easy and wonderful recipe.

Ths came out good and very easy to make.  I will make this again.

Easy Cookie Recipes: Chocolate Chip Cookes

all-purpose flour

sea salt

coconut oil

tahini* ((see note))

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.

In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, coconut oil, tahini, water, and vanilla until smooth.

Pour the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients and use a spatula to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips. Use a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto the baking sheets. Bake, one sheet at a time, for 12 to 14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes.

Just three ingredients to make these sweet treats! You can use store bought or homemade sugar cookies. Mix up the colors of the candy coating and sprinkles to make these for any holiday.

Sugar Cookie Balls

sprinkles (for decorating)

Add the sugar cookies to a food processor. Pulse until the cookies are ground into small crumbs.

Add the cream cheese and pulse until combined.

Line a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper.

Using a 1” cookie scoop, scoop and roll 18 truffles.

Place the cookie sheet into the freezer for 15 minutes.

Melt the red candy melts over a pot of boiling water.

Remove the truffles from the freezer and dip them into the melted candy. Dip one at a time and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Add the sprinkles right after dipping.

Continue dipping and adding sprinkles until you’ve finished all of the truffles.

Add the cookie sheet back into the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.

When you’re ready to serve the truffles, remove them from the refrigerator and allow them to sit for a few minutes to soften before serving.

Agree with all the earlier reviewers, these are really more like a scone (which I love), rather than a cookie and it's not a sweet as most cookie (which I also love). The mixture is thicker and stiffer than a cookie batter, so do yourself a favor and use a stand mixer when you make this, you'll be MUCH happier with the result, because while you can achieve the "fluffiness" desired with the butter/sugar mixture with a hand mixture, it's gets stiff quickly when you start to blend in the dry ingredients and you can only really get the incorporate, but don't over-mix result with a stand mixer . Lovely spring recipe, love these flavors, it is DELISH!

I made these this morning.  They are delicious!  I added 1/2 tsp. of vanilla since I love vanilla.  I used frozen/thawed blueberries and would definitely recommend NOT using them.  Wait until you have fresh to make this recipe.

Just made these tonight after I found blueberries on sale 😊 They turned out perfect and taste delicious! Very light and fluffy cookie that held its shape so well. The glaze is incredible. We will be having these for breakfast as well 😋

These are delicious and easy to make. I didn’t use a scoop but used a tablespoon (soup) and they came out great. I tried 3 different sizes. I let them out overnight in
a plastic container but were too soft. Next time I will put in frig & leave container top
ajar a bit.

I think they will be tasty, but definitely more like scones.  Pour some sugared fruit over the with cream!

For a double batch, I used 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 packages of Andes mints, 1/4 Winter Dark morsels (mixture of mint and dark chocolate chips), doubled the rest of the ingredients, and the cookies were great. Didn't have to chill the dough. The cookies stayed puffy after they were baked.

Sooo yummy! These were definitely our best batch of cookies yet! We used one and a half sticks of butter and that seemed to work. We also used 3/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Definitely refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. LOVED these cookies!🍪

I followed what OlivePuzzle did but refrigerated the cookies for about 3 hrs instead of over night before baking. Cookies came out great!

My cookies also came out flat. Really disappointed.

Did not turn out like the picture--nice and puffy. Came out flat as a pancake. Taste was good but appearance not. I think it should have been half granulated sugar and half brown sugar.

I just made these because I needed an easy Christmas cookie exchange recipe and despite my hesitation because of some of the reviews, they came out perfect!  I didn't have trouble with the butter.  It was reallllly soft.  I left it out in the morning and made these at night.  I just scraped little bits into the bowl at a time and worked the dough until it all came together.  It took a bit to get it the butter fully incorporated, but once I did they rolled out perfectly.  I got 30 cookies but they were small about an inch wide---so keep that in mind.

This recipe was amazing! To everyone who is making mistakes, regular granulated sugar should be added to the mixture, and NOT powdered sugar / confectioners sugar. Also, DO NOT melt the butter in the microwave, let it soften at room temperature.

These are great and easy and the fam loved 'em.

I like mine heavily coated in powdered sugar so I sprinkle a thick coat of powdered sugar onto parchment paper, then transfer the cookies to the paper and bury them in powdered sugar and walk away. Once they are cool I carefully dump them in a sifter and shake off the extra!

I have made these with Walnuts and Pecans and a mix of both, all turned out great!
