This gluten-free, grain-free, chai spiced granola recipe is made from almonds, pecans, a variety of seeds and warming chai spices.Note: I use all raw nuts and seeds in this recipe.

Chai Spiced Granola (Grain-Free)

almonds

pecans

sunflower seeds

pumpkin seeds

cashews

cinnamon

tsp ginger

tsp cardamom

tsp allspice

tbsp organic blackstrap molasses

honey (or maple syrup)

tsp vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 275 degrees fahrenheit.

Place your nuts and seeds (individually, one type at a time) in a food processor. Pulse until they've been chopped to a medium-fine texture, stopping before they turn into nut butter. Place the nuts and seeds into a large mixing bowl.

Add the remaining ingredients to your mixing bowl and use your hands to mix together thoroughly.

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Divide the granola mix evenly between the two pans in a single, flat layer.

Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir the granola. Rotate your pans when you place back in the oven. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, being careful not to burn the granola. (Note: It can quickly go from golden to burned within a minute, so keep an eye on it. It won't look any different when it's done baking and will still be soft - that's fine. It will harden once it cools.)

Remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes. Place in a sealed container and store for future use.

I really enjoy this cereal. Cooking from recipes gets expensive, so I made some slight alterations. I used sliced almonds instead of whole, I also added pumpkin seeds and 2Tbs peanut butter & chocolate protein powder. I think that I will add a sweetener next time.

Delicious with a few changes after reading previous reviews. 
     1- I doubled the cinnamon    
     2- I put all ingredients in my processor to                                    coaresly blend
     3- I used some sunflower seeds
     4- I used melted butter instead of melted coconut oil
                       PERFECTLY DELICIOUS!

I used sliced almonds which worked well. Also, I like my cereal sweet so I added some Swerve to taste (prob 1/4cup) and I will eliminate the salt & add more cinnamon next time.

What did the clove say to the red hot pepper?  

We don’t have to take our cloves off to have a good time.

I have made this recipe many times now. Since sesame seeds are not available in large quantities at my store I have remove them. I add blueberries and just a little bit of shredded wheat.  I burnt the heck out of the recipe the first time I made it. Now I cook for 5 minutes, stir and cook for another 6 minutes. Anything pass that time, it begins to burn. So keep an eye out on it the first time you make it!

Delicious. The only thing I wish is there were nutritional value on each recipe .

So much hate on this recipe and no real suggestions to improve it? Seems pretty negative. For those of you ranting about the low sweet factor, thats easily solved with added stevia. Granola isn't supposed to be sickly sweet, so thank you delish! And keto is EXTREMELY restrictive if you follow the macro ratio that the MOST restrictive form of it allows. If you truly are keto, then you aren't eating granola of any form, stick to your salmon and avocados. This recipe was wonderful!

I used a food processor to make a course mixture for the coconut nuts and seeds not just chopped. Then followed the recipe. Used coconut oil baking spray on the cookie sheet and spread evenly and baked at 350 for 20 minutes. Mine did not burn. It was actually the perfect “granola” consistency.  I let it cool and put it in a glass jar to store. Had a bowl with almond coconut milk. I really like this recipe.  Thank you I have been craving cereal. I’ve lost 25lbs so far on Keto. I took away one star because really you should provide the nutrient break down but i’ll go figure that out.

Waaaaaay too much oil. You probably only need half. It ended up sooooooo greasy an tasted like oil. Don't spray the sheet with anything

Easy Vegan Granola Recipe 

Real Maple Syrup

tsp Vanilla Extract

Salt

Cinnamon

Rolled Oats (not Instant), Gluten-Free if necessary

Pumpkin Seeds

Almonds

Walnuts

Unsweetened Coconut Flakes

Preheat the oven to 325F. Add the Maple Syrup, Nut/Seed Butter, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, and Salt to the base of a large bowl. Whisk until evenly incorporated.

Pour the Oats, Pumpkin Seeds, Almonds, and Coconut into the bowl and fold them into the wet mixture, until all pieces are evenly coated. Transfer this mixture to a greased or lined baking tray and press it into a thin, even layer using a spatula.

Bake for 20 minutes on the bottom rack of the oven, then remove and use a spatula to toss/flip the granola. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 6-7 minutes, then remove.

Immediately sprinkle the Chocolate Chips or Dried Fruit over the Granola, using a spatula to gently toss the mixture. If you’d like the Chips to completely melt, stir them a bit more until they melt completely. Let the Granola and Chocolate cool completely on the tray before removing.

Serve as desired; store leftovers at room temperature or in the fridge (recommended for crunchier granola) for up to one month.

I love this recipe, the funny part is, I made it exactly like yours but came up with it on my own through experimentation, I just found yours and your site, what an awesome site. I use gluten free oats and I make my own nut/almond butter and use that. I live in the middle of almond orchards so almonds on the cheap come easy.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good clean granola recipe for so long. I don’t like to buy in stores and I wanted a recipe with very few and REAL ingredients. This one is perfect!!! I made it- so easy and it’s delicious!!!! I’ve been snacking on it all day!!

This is now my go-to granola!! I love it. I usually add about 3/4 of dried fruit (more coconut flakes, dates, and craisins - yum!). Maple syrup is super expensive where I live, so I use honey instead and it's amazing! Thank you for sharing this recipe!!

Awesome granola! I prefer this to all the other (many, many) granola recipes I've made with oil. Granola tastes so much better without oil, I think oil gives it a weird aftertaste. This is better than any store-bought granola I've ever tried! I have a nut allergy so I subbed the nut butter for sunflower butter butter and added chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pepitas, and raisins. I made this with sugar free syrup ???????? DELICIOUS. Instead of sunflower seeds I used sesame seeds, and instead of almonds snd walnuts I just used 1 cup of mixed nuts. Thank you for this recipe so much.????

I make this so often - it’s one of my favourite recipes! So versatile - I’ve used both 1/3 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup (more cost effective) and they both yield the same results. Thanks !

This hits the granola spot for me! I used 1/3 of unroasted cashew butter, 1/3 cup agave nectar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Then I put more cinnamon because “Duh”! 

I ate some with 1/2 perfectly ripe banana and some soy milk. I added hemp seeds. I’m going to make more, I’ll definitely do a chocolate chia seed granola as well as a peanut butter one. I think I would stick cranberries, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, and maybe cashews or raisins in this vanilla neutral-tasting granola. 

It’s perfect. Sometimes I just want to eat granola and nothing else with it. This is the kind you can do that with because it will never skimp you on flavor. 

Thanks for a new way for me and my toddler to enjoy our beloved rolled oats! (We buy 6 lbs a month, lol!)

This granola is super easy to make and absolutely delicious. I also like that it is versatile enough to use whatever nuts, etc. I have on hand. It is so good, it is hard to keep it in the house very long. We even find ourselves eating it for dinner sometimes. : ) Thank you for sharing it with us.

This is the recipe I've been looking for. I made it with almond butter and subbed pecans for the almonds. So yummy. I had to make myself stop eating, or I might have eaten the entire batch in one sitting! I can't wait to experiment with other combinations.

Homemade Tigernut Granola (Nut Free, Gluten Free, Keto, Paleo, Vegan, Dairy Free &amp; Oil Free) – A crunchy nut free granola cereal made with tigernuts and a mix of seeds like pumpkin, chia and hemp seeds. This gluten free nut free grain free granola is delicious on its own or served with dairy free milk, yogurt, smoothie or ice cream. 

Gluten Free Nut Free Tigernut Granola (Grain Free, Oil Free, Keto, Vegan)

tigernuts ((chopped))

tigernuts ((sliced))

sunflower seeds (raw)

pumpkin seeds (raw)

golden flax seeds ((ground))

currants

cranberries (or raisins (soaked))

hemp seeds

coconut cream

sugar

tsp pink Himalayan salt

raspberries (crushed)

freeze dried bananas (crushed)

Take 1.3 cup of tigernuts and soak them in a bowl of water overnight.

Soak the dried black currants or any of your dried fruit in warm water for at least 30 minutes before use in the recipe. This will help remove dirt and any oil or sugar residue.

Prepare The Ingredients That Need Soaking

Once soaked discard the water, place the tigernuts in a food processor and pulse a few times until they resemble chopped nuts.

You can also thinly slice them with a knife if you prefer larger pieces.

Chop And Slice

Preheat oven to 300F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.  

Into a large bowl toss chopped and sliced tigernuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed meal, dried black currants, coconut cream (room temperature) or oil, the sweetener (if you use any) and salt.

Use a spatula to stir and combine.

Spread your grain free nut free granola mixture evenly on the prepared baking tray. Spread the granola in a single thin layer or use two baking trays if needed.&nbsp;

Assemble The Gluten Free Nut Free Grain Free Granola

Bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through with a spatula. Your grain free granola is ready when is slightly golden brown and crisp.

Bake The Granola

Cool down for 15 minutes on the tray then stir in the dried freeze fruits (I used raspberries and bananas).

Final Mix-ins

Transfer your cool granola into a glass jar.  Store up to 3-4 weeks. This recipe makes about 4-5 cups of granola.

If I could bottle the smell of this granola or turn it into a candle (might be onto something here...) I might become the richest woman in the world. I am so excited to share this incredibly delicious new flavour with you. I love pecans. I think they might be my favourite nut to bake with. There is something magical that happens when pecans are roasted that no other nut can compare to. Pecan Cinnamon Roll Granola

½ cup each sunflower and pumpkin seeds

cinnamon (divided)

olive oil, pecan butter and maple syrup

Preheat oven to 320 convection or 325 degrees F.

Add dry ingredients minus 2 tsp of ground cinnamon into a large bowl and mix well to combine.

Add wet ingredients + 2 tsp ground cinnamon into a small pot. Heat over medium low heat and stir until mixture is homegenous.

Divide granola onto two baking sheets. Press firmly and place in the oven to bake for 20 minutes. Turn pans 180 degrees and bake again for 10-15 more minutes until granola is golden brown.

Let the granola cool COMPLETELY before using spatula to remove granola from sheets. Store in an air-tight container.

This small batch granola is perfect for a quick breakfast or snack! Made from healthy and customizable ingredients and can even be baked in toaster oven.
