The Easiest Tasty Grilled Lamb Chops. Rosemary Garlic Lamb Loin Chops

Super tender grilled lamb chops that have been marinated in Mediterranean spices, garlic, and lemon juice. Serve them with tomato mint quinoa included in this recipe and a little Tztaziki sauce or see other ideas below!

Mediterranean Grilled Lamb Chop Recipe with Tomato Mint Quinoa

garlic paste (or finely minced garlic)

allspice

tsp ground green cardamom

nutmeg

tsp sweet paprika

tsp black pepper

mint leaves

Olive oil

lemon, juice of

dry quinoa,

water

garlic cloves, chopped

14.5 oz can petit tomato diced

Salt and pepper

mint

red onion

feta cheese

In a small bowl combine the garlic and spices with 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves and 2 tbsp of olive oil. This makes a rub for the lamb.

Take the lamb chops and rub them each on both sides with the garlic-spice rub. Place the chops in a deep dish with 2 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice and onions. Cover and leave in the fridge for 1 to 4 hours.

20 to 25 minutes before grilling, remove the lamb chops from the fridge and let them rest at room temperature.

Meanwhile, cook the quinoa according to package instructions, adding a dash of salt and olive oil to the cooking water. (For 1 cup of quinoa, you'll add 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer until water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.)

Now let's add flavor to the cooked quinoa! In a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook very briefly and then add the canned diced tomato. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now, stir in the cooked quinoa. Once warmed through, add the chopped fresh mint. Stir to combine and remove from heat. Off heat, add chopped red onions, feta cheese and more fresh mint leaves for garnish

Time to grill the lamb chops! Heat an a gas grill (or an indoor grill pan) over high heat (make sure the grill is super hot) add the lamb chops and grill for about 2 minutes. Flip the chops over and cook for another 3 minutes for medium-rare or 3 1/2 minutes for medium (internal temperature should register 125 degrees F for medium-rare or 135 degrees F for medium). Let the chops rest for 10 minutes before serving.

When ready to serve, transfer the tomato mint quinoa to serving bowls, top with 2 lamb chops per person. Enjoy!

Lamb Chops with Peanut Sauce

These mediterranean lamb chops are so juicy and flavorful with notes of oregano, garlic, and lemon in each bite.

Mediterranean Lamb Chops

Lamb Chops, patted dry

Salt & Pepper to preference

tbsp Garlic Powder

Lemon Pepper

tbsp Olive oil

A lemon's juice

Garlic cloves, minced

tbsp Dried Oregano

tbsp Avocado oil oil lamb

Season each lamb chop on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and lemon pepper.

Create the wet marinade by mixing together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano.

Place the lamb chops in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade into the bag making sure to rub each chop with the marinade.

Seal the bag and let this marinate for at least 4 hours but for best results overnight.

Take the lamb chops out 30 min prior to cooking to allow the muscles in the meat to relax and therefore create a more tender bite once cooked.

Heat a nonstick pan and add the avocado or grape seed oil to the pan.

Once the pan is hot, add the lamb chops but make sure not to overcrowd the pan. Press down with a spatula for a few seconds to get a nice sear on the lamb chop. Let this cook for about 5 minutes each side or to your liking on doneness. You should achieve a gorgeous sear on both sides and a juicy lamb chop!

Pair with your favorite sides like potatoes and/or salad for a complete meal!

If you’re looking to impress guests at dinner, then you absolutely need to make these Grilled Greek Style Lamb Chops. Marinated in lemon, oregano, and loads of garlic, these lamb chops reach the ultimate level of flavor, and will make you look like a rockstar.Serves 6 - 8Recipe can be halved.

Grilled Greek Style Lamb Chops

oregano (preferably Greek*)

Pat the lamb chops until they’re dry. I like a thicker chop so I slice them thick into 4 chops. If you want to slice them thinner, simply slice into 8 chops.

Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.

Place the chops into a zip top bag and pour in the marinade. Note: I like to reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for pouring over the cooked chops. The freshness of the marinade takes these over the top.

Remove all the air and close the top. I squeeze the bag to get the marinade into the meat. You can marinate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight in the fridge. Flip the bag over here and there to make sure it gets an even coating. Remove from fridge and allow to come to room temp - about 30 minutes - before continuing.

While meat is coming to room temperature, heat the grill to medium high.

Grill the lamb chops for about 3 - 4 minutes per side if you have a thinner chop or 6 - 8 minutes for a thicker one. You can cook them to your liking. I prefer them medium well.

Transfer onto a platter and let them sit (if you can) for a few minutes before devouring. Pour reserved marinade over the chops and enjoy.

These lamb chops couldn’t be easier! The mint apple sauce is DELISH!
This is my go-to for fast, simple, incredible flavour for lamb chops. Thank you Lisa!

The smell from these ingredients had everyone in anticipation of the meal to come and it didn’t disappoint. Meat was tender and full of flavor!

Made this two days ago with Costco’s boneless lamb leg instead of the frenched rack, so we’ve been eating leftovers - happily! I don’t own a grill, so I made it in my trusty stainless steel pan and it turned out great. I love that this recipe only calls for a handful of ingredients and delivers such a high quality meal. Can’t thank you enough! Also loved the mint apple sauce!

Tried this recipe for the first time and it was amazing - definitily going to be added to the rotation.

I made this for easter lunch and it was just amazing. We couldn’t stop eating with just one, went on for seconds and thirds. Our little one liked it too! The mint apple sauce was so yummy, pretty sure we’ll make it for other dishes.

I made this last night for my husband's birthday dinner. Everyone raved about it. The mint sauce was deliciously fresh and light, and much better that mint jelly!

OMG- I made these on Easter and they came out amazing! It was a simple recipe and sooo delicious. I agree with Lisa about the sauce - it is downright drinkable. Will definitely make this again. Thanks so much for the great recipes!

BEST LAMB CHOPS with Garlic Rosemary Flavor (So Easy!)

Consider this your new go-to marinade for grilled lamb chops, inspired by Northern Chinese flavors! They go with a wide variety of other flavors and side dishes!

Grilled Lamb Chops

lamb rib chops

cumin powder

Sichuan peppercorn powder

sea salt

sugar

soy sauce ((my secret ingredient!))

oil ((optional; omit if you have fattier lamb chops))

Rinse each chop, then pat dry with a paper towel. Add the chops to a large mixing bowl along the water, cumin powder, Sichuan peppercorn powder, salt, sugar, and light soy sauce. If your lamb chops are on the leaner side, mix in the oil to lock in moisture.

Mix with your hands until there is no visible standing liquid (continuously mixing them with your hands will help the lamb chops absorb all the liquid). Marinate for 15-30 minutes before grilling. We don’t opt for a long marinating time in order to maintain the fresh flavor of the lamb chops.

When you’re ready to cook, preheat your grill until the temperature gauge reads 400-450°F. Lay the lamb chops on the grill and don’t move them too much. Close the grill. After 2-3 minutes, rotate the lamb chops a half turn to get some grill marks. You may want to close the grill again to build up heat, but you be the judge as every grill is different. After another 2-3 minutes, flip the chops. They should be golden and burnished. (You may want to throw in another turn or two before you flip the chops.) On the other side, let the chops cook, rotating a half turn once again to get those grill marks. For the last 1-2 minutes, you may want to turn the lamb chops on their side (carefully, so they don’t fall through the grates) to brown and render the fat cap until it’s sizzling and golden. Transfer the chops to a platter, and serve!
