Easiest Protein EVER - Hibachi Shrimp

Sauce: combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Taste, and adjust seasonings to your liking. Refrigerate until ready to use. 

Hibachi Shrimp: Preheat a large skillet (12-inches or so) to medium-high heat with the oil until very hot. Add the shrimp in one layer and cook for 2 minutes until the shrimp starts to brown. Flip the shrimp and sprinkle all over with the soy sauce and lemon juice. Continue to cook until browned on both sides, maybe one or two minutes more. 

Serve the shrimp with rice and/or veggies drizzled with the white sauce. Enjoy!

baby bella mushrooms (about 8 ounces, quartered)

sesame seeds (preferably lightly toasted)

For the mustard sauce: Lightly toast sesame seeds if desired. (See note.) Blend sesame seeds, dry mustard, 2 teaspoons honey, half and half, hot water, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and minced garlic in blender.

Make the fried rice: Heat 2 tablespoons avocado oil on medium high in a large skillet or wok. Add diced onion and frozen vegetables, and sauté until onions are almost translucent, about 3 minutes. Move the vegetables to the side of pan.

Crack eggs into pan and scramble with a spatula until cooked through and fully scrambled. Add 4 cups cooked rice and 4 tablespoons butter. Cook for 5 minutes and stir frequently. Add 4 tablespoons soy sauce and cook 1 additional minute. Pack fried rice firmly into bowls to keep hot.

Make the chicken and vegetables at the same time. For the chicken: Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil and 1 tablespoon avocado oil in same skillet or wok used for fried rice. Add chicken, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to skillet. Cook chicken until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Stir only once or twice so chicken will brown.

For the vegetables: In a separate large skillet or wok, heat 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil and 1 tablespoon avocado oil on medium high heat. Add sliced onion, baby bella mushrooms, zucchini, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, salt, and pepper to skillet. Sauté until vegetables are tender, about 6-8 minutes.

Easy Hibachi Chicken

Pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Tablespoons Butter (Divided)

Tablespoons Sesame Oil (Divided)

Cloves Garlic (Minced)

Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce

Medium Lemon

Yum Yum Sauce (For Serving, Optional)

Place the chicken on a large cutting board and cut into bite sized pieces (about 1 inch).  Season with salt &amp; pepper to taste.

Heat one Tablespoon of the butter, and one Tablespoon of the sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat.

Add the chicken and cook, turning with tongs, until golden on all sides and cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat to medium.  Add the remaining butter, garlic and soy sauce to the pan, and cook stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is coated in sauce.

Remove the pan from the heat and drizzle the remaining sesame oil over the chicken, then squeeze over the lemon juice and toss to coat.

Serve immediately.  Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

This fantastic, light Benihana Onion Soup is a fan-favorite at the popular Japanese Steakhouse and it&#039;s surprisingly easy to make! The soup goes by many names, but is always loaded with onion flavor then topped with mushrooms, scallions, and fried onions!

Benihana Onion Soup

carrot ((rough chopped))

In a saucepan, combine the vegetable base for the broth: carrots, celery, onion, and garlic with a tablespoon or two of water or chicken broth. Saute the vegetables over medium-high heat until fragrant.

Add the chicken broth, soy sauce, and water to the sauteed vegetables. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Using a fine-mesh sieve, drain the broth into a clean bowl and throw away the strained vegetables. Return the clear broth to your saucepan and keep on low heat while serving.

Serve with 6-8 thinly sliced mushrooms, garnished with sliced green onions and fried onions.

Hibachi Noodles

mirin ((or 2 Tbsp sugar))

Combine ingredients in a jar or squeeze bottle that you can seal with a lid to shake up the contents, and for storing any unused portion (if desired).

Shake container before using to cook hibachi style foods, such as these hibachi noodles, rice, vegetables, chicken, steak, or seafood.

Hibachi Cooking Oil

Cook, drain and rinse noodles. Drizzle with sesame seed oil, then lightly season with a couple turns of your black pepper grinder (or sprinkle with a pinch of ground pepper). Toss noodles and set aside.

In a wok or large frying pan, bring the wok to medium heat. Add 1/4 cup of the hibachi cooking oil, butter, garlic and ginger.

Saute the garlic and ginger while the butter melts and until the garlic is tender, about 2-3 minutes. Add the pasta, teriyaki, and mirin. Fry the noodles until they are heated through, turning occasionally, for about 2 minutes.

Use additional hibachi cooking oil as needed, sprinkle with sesame seeds when serving.

Taste it and adjust seasonings as needed. I also like to add a little hot sauce for some heat.

Cover the bowl and chill for a few hours (or overnight) which will help the flavors to mend.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.

Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Use a whisk to mix all the ingredients until fully incorporated and sauce is smooth.

Cut the steak into bite size pieces and place in a container or plastic bag. Add 1 Tbsp of the soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of the garlic, and 1 Tbsp of the ginger. Stir until evenly combined and marinate for an hour.

Preheat a hibachi griddle or large skillet to medium high. Add 1 Tbsp of the sesame oil and the mushrooms, zucchini, and onions. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring a few times.

Add the remaining 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp garlic, 1 Tbsp ginger, butter and sesame seeds to the veggies.

Move the veggies to one side of the griddle or skillet and add the remaining 1 Tbsp sesame oil and the steak on the other side. Continue cooking the veggies and steak for 3 to 4 more minutes, stirring and flipping throughout.

Serve the steak and veggies with yum yum sauce for dipping.
