Make your own Homemade Baileys Irish Cream in less than 2 minutes and with only 6 basic ingredients. The perfect homemade gift for family and friends.

Homemade Baileys

(240 grams) cream

395 g sweetened condensed milk

(375 grams) Irish whiskey (such as Jameson's)

tbs (45 grams) chocolate topping or syrup

tsp vanilla extract

Mix the coffee granules with 2 tbs of boiling water and allow to cool completely&nbsp;(this step is optional - but recommended for a smooth result).&nbsp;

Place all ingredients (including the cold coffee liquid) into a blender.

Very slowly increase to medium/low speed for 20 seconds or until just combined (see notes). 

Pour into sterilised glasses, seal and place into the fridge.

Keep unopened in the fridge for 2 months. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 1 week.

Conventional Method

Combine all ingredients in the canister of a blender and blend on high speed until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.

Transfer mixture to a glass bottle or airtight...

Transfer mixture to a glass bottle or airtight container with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months (I have read anywhere between 1 to 2 months; the alcohol helps preserve it, but always use the sniff test and common sense).

Shake well before using.

Irish whiskey

Add all ingredients except for the whiskey to a pot over medium-low heat. 

Heat the mixture, whisking until the sugar is dissolved and the cocoa powder is well incorporated. The mixture should be steaming hot, but it should not simmer or boil. Keep over medium-low heat for a few minutes, then remove from heat. 

Let it cool to room temperature, then whisk in the Irish whiskey. 

Transfer to a jar or glass bottles with a lid, then store in the refrigerator for 1-2 months. Shake well before each use.  

A deliciously smooth and rich after dinner drink comprised of Irish Whiskey, cream, sweetened condensed milk and a hint of chocolate and vanilla. Will keep up to two months in the refrigerator.

Heavenly Homemade Irish Cream Rich &amp; Smooth

235 ml heavy or whipping cream

14-oz.

235 ml Irish whiskey (I used Jameson)

instant espresso

Put the cocoa powder in a small glass measuring cup and mash out any small lumps. Whisk the cocoa powder with a spoonful of cream. It will forma a very thick paste.

Add more cream a spoon full at a time until the paste is smooth and loose enough that you can whisk in more cream.

Add the cocoa and cream in a pitcher and whisk in the remaining cream.

Whisk in the condensed milk, whiskey, and vanilla.

Cover with lid or plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator.

Will keep in refrigerator for two months.

Serve chilled in a small glass or add ice. You can also add it to coffee. Top with a sprinkle of cocoa if you like  more of a chocolate taste.

I absolutely love Irish cream. I love how creamy, rich and perfect the drink is. It's absolutely perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas night gatherings.

The best recipe I have ever made in the 20 years I have been making Baileys.  The only thing I do different is I use Mexican instant espresso and 1/4 cup amaretto
