Honey Garlic Salmon (5 Ingredients, 15 Minutes)

tbsp honey

soy sauce (all purpose or light soy sauce)

vinegar

garlic

salmon

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Sesame seeds

chives

Take salmon out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking. Pat salmon skin dry with a paper towel and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Whisk together the Sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

Drizzle oil in a non stick fry pan and heat over medium high heat (or just under, if your stove runs hot). Place salmon in the pan, and cook the first side for 3 - 4 minutes until golden. Turn, then cook the other side for 2 - 3 minutes or until golden.

Pour Sauce over salmon. Cook for 1 minute or until it starts to thicken slightly. Check the side of the salmon to tell how cooked through the middle is - I like mine medium rare inside. (Note 1). If Sauce thickens too much before your salmon is cooked to your taste, just add water 1 tbsp at a time.

Remove onto serving plates.

Serve salmon drizzled with Sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds and chives/shallots, if desired.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a non-stick shallow glass pan with non-stick spray.&nbsp;

Rinse Salmon and pat dry. Cut into 4 pieces.

Salt and pepper salmon on both sides.

In a bowl combine all ingredients and stir into a paste.

Evenly spread on top of salmon (skin side down on pan).

Bake uncovered for 12-15 minutes until top is golden brown.

Sweet, spicy, and sticky boneless chicken thighs or breasts cooked in a honey garlic soy sauce.

Honey Garlic Chicken

chicken thighs

cornstarch

Salt

tsp ground pepper

tbsp oil

unsalted butter

4-5 garlic cloves,

chicken stock

honey

soy sauce

tbsp rice vinegar

tsp red chili flakes

tbsp parsley, chopped

To the bowl with chicken thighs add cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken well.

In a small bowl mix the ingredients for the sauce; chicken stock, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, chili flakes, and parsley, keep it aside.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add oil and once the oil is heated add in the chicken thighs. Cook for 5-6 minutes by flipping until brown.

To the same skillet add the butter in the center, once the butter has melted add the minced garlic and fry for a minute.

Add the prepared sauce mixture to the skillet and cook on a low medium flame for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is well cooked.

Once done, serve the honey garlic chicken along with a bowl of rice.

This easy oven baked salmon recipe is our favorite! The salmon is cooked in a honey, Dijon and garlic glaze and takes just 10 minutes of prep time. This delicious salmon recipe is perfect for a fancy dinner or weeknight meal!

Favorite Easy Oven Baked Salmon

Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature while you prepare the other ingredients.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper (for easy clean up). You can also use a lined sheet pan.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, Dijon and minced garlic.

Place salmon, skin side down, in the prepared baking dish. Pour about 2/3 of the sauce over the salmon, reserving the remaining 1/3 sauce.

Bake for 15 minutes and then brush on the remaining sauce. Bake 2-5 minutes more, until internal temperature of the thickest part of the fish reaches 145 degrees on an instant read thermometer. Serve.

🥑 Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salad {Low-carb option!}

30 Minute Honey Garlic Salmon with Apple Dijon Green Salad

oz wild caught salmon (2 - 6 oz salmon filets)

whole grain dijon mustard

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place salmon filets skin side down.

Add soy sauce, dijon, honey and garlic to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Spoon only half of the mixture over the salmon filets. Bake for 18-20 minute or until salmon easily flakes. Remove from oven and immediately pour remaining glaze on top of the salmon.

While the salmon is cooking, you can prepare the apple dijon salad in a large bowl by following the instructions on the package (add the nuts/dried fruit, dressing and cheese).&nbsp;

Divide salad into two large bowls and add salmon filet on top. You can either leave salmon as a whole filet or flake with a fork and toss with the salad. Makes 2 servings! Enjoy!

Honey Garlic Salmon is the easiest fish dinner you’ll ever make! It’s perfectly flaky with a sweet and salty honey soy glaze with lemon juice and melted butter.

Honey Garlic Salmon

paprika (or smoked paprika)

garlic (finely minced)

Season the salmon fillets with paprika, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to gently press the seasonings into the flesh.

In a pan, melt butter over medium-high heat and sear the salmon skin-side down first. Use your spatula to lightly press the filets for full contact with the pan. Flip after a few minutes, then let them rest on a plate when done.

Keep the melted butter in the pan, and add the garlic, honey, water, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Cook for a couple minutes until it begins to thicken.

Return the cooked salmon filets to the pan, and cover them with sauce. Cook a couple more minutes until everything is incorporated with the glaze. Garnish with lemon slices, parsley, and serve!

Season salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.

Add oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. Once hot add in the salmon skin side down. Cook salmon for 5-7 minutes on skin side (depending on size).

Very carefully flip salmon. If the skin is sticking to the pan give it more time to cook. It should release easily from the pan.

Add garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute.Combine honey and lemon juice in a small bowl. Add the sauce to the pan. Continue cooking for 1-3 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and looks opaque and the sauce is thick.

Take off of the heat. When the salmon is cool enough to handle peel off the skin. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish, if desired.
