This Keto Teriyaki Sauce is sugar-free, low carb, and ready in 5 minutes! It’s the best Japanese teriyaki sauce made keto friendly! Makes 1 cup.

Keto Teriyaki Sauce (Sugar Free, Low Carb, Easy)

coconut aminos (or gluten-free

apple cider vinegar

tsp grated ginger

tsp grated garlic

tsp Lakanto golden monk fruit sweetener

0.5 tsp xanthan gum

Combine

In a small to medium size pot, add ingredients from the coconut amino to the sweetener.

Simmer

Give it a stir and cover the pot with a lid. Bring it to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat, about 3 minutes.

Thicken

Slowly and gradually sprinkle in the xanthan gum little-by-little while whisking the hot simmering sauce at the same time. The sauce will thicken pretty quickly.

Store

Off heat. Let it cool to room temperature before packing it to a mason jar. Store it in the fridge and best use it in 2-3 weeks.

Keto Teriyaki Sauce

gluten-free tamari ((60 grams))

water ((60 grams))

golden sweetener ((35 grams))

garlic powder

sesame oil

ginger paste ((20 grams))

xanthan gum

COOK

Place all ingredients into a small saucepan over moderate heat and simmer until sauce has reduced by half.

CONVENTIONAL METHOD

Place all ingredients into mixing bowl. Cook 5 min/110 ̊C/speed 1. Reserve.

THERMAL METHOD

Water

Tamari Sauce

Xylitol

Sesame Oil

Garlic Powder

½ teaspoon Ginger (ground)

Xanthan Gum

Sesame Seeds (optional)

Place all the ingredients, except the xanthan gum, in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk together.

Bring to the boil and reduce by about ¼ of a cup (keep a close eye on the sauce as it is prone to boiling over).

Sprinkle the xanthan gum over and whisk in.

Continue to boil until the sauce has thickened, then remove from the heat.

Stir through the sesame seeds, if using.

Serve the hot sauce over chicken, fish, steak or vegetables or allow to cool to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.

Place the soy sauce, brown sugar substitute, minced garlic, ginger paste and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat on the stove. Bring to a slight boil.

Reduce the heat to medium low and whisk in the xanthan gum. Simmer until the sauce thickens.

Remove from the heat and stir in the sesame seeds. Let the sauce cool and then use or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Whisk together ingredients

Thicken the sauce

Add sauce to a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until sauce is bubbling and thickened.
