Line a 8x8 or 9x9 dish with parchment paper or foil.

Crush graham crackers in a ziploc bag using a rolling pin or blitz using a food processor.

Melt butter in a large bowl add peanut butter and mix until smooth.

Beat in powdered sugar then fold in the crumbs. Transfer to lined dish and smooth.

Melt chocolate and peanut butter, pour over the peanut butter base, smooth then chill for at least 90 minutes.

Cut into bars and enjoy.

In a large bowl, mix together the oats, peanut butter and honey. Press the mixture into the bottom of a small 5-inch or similar sized dish. Set aside.

TO MAKE THE CRUST

In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey and oat flour. Spoon over the crust. Set aside.

TO MAKE THE FILLING

Blend together the cream cheese and honey with either a fork or a hand mixer. Spread over the peanut butter filling.

Refrigerate to chill.

TO MAKE THE TOPPING

Perfectly thick, soft and chewy peanut butter bars with a peanut butter and chocolate glaze, and oats baked in the chewy cookie bars.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.&nbsp;

Add the eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter and mix well.

In a separate bowl mix together the dry ingredients.  Add dry ingredients to creamy mixture.&nbsp;

Press firmly into a greased 9x13'' pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17-21 minutes. Do not over-bake! They will look just barely set in the center, and they will harden as they cool. Allow to cool completely.

Once cooled, spread a thin layer of peanut butter over the bars.

Add butter to a small skillet over medium heat. Once melted, stir in cocoa.

Remove from heat and add milk, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whisk until smooth, using electric beaters to get out any lumps, if needed. .

Spread chocolate frosting over the top of the bars.

Peanut Butter Bars

If you love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, these no-bake chocolate topped peanut butter bars are for you. Easy to make and ready to eat in less than 30 minutes!

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

unsalted butter (melted)

animal cracker crumbs (or vanilla wafers, graham crackers, etc)

oz semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)

In a mixer or a food processor, combine the first four ingredients until smooth. Spread into a 13x9 baking pan.

For the topping, melt the chocolate and peanut butter together in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir. If not completely melted you can heat in 10 second intervals until smooth. Spread over the top of the peanut butter layer.

Chill dessert in the refrigerator for about an hour, or in the freezer for 15 minutes. Cut into bars and serve.

5 Ingredient Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (NO BAKE!)

icing sugar / powdered sugar

peanut butter ((smooth))

dark chocolate chips

Butter and line a 8" / 20cm square dish or pan with baking paper.

Place the Base ingredients in a bowl and mix until combined. Press into the prepared pan.

Melt the Topping ingredients (I do it in the microwave in 2 x 30 second bursts). Pour and spread over the Base - smooth the top or do swirls (see photos for examples of each).

Refrigerate until set - about 1 1/2 hours. Remove from fridge, allow to come to room temp slightly (so top cuts neatly). Cut into 16 squares (or whatever shape you want!).&nbsp;Best served at room temperature.

These quick and easy peanut butter banana oatmeal bars are adaptable in many different ways. See my blog post above and recipe notes below. They're a more solid form of my delicious baked oatmeal.

Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars

2 large ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)

(125 grams) creamy

(50 grams) coconut sugar or brown sugar

(45 grams) unsweetened applesauce*

(120 milliliters) almond milk

(200 grams) old-fashioned whole oats

baking powder

cinnamon

(180 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips*

Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper with enough overhang on the sides to easily remove the bars from the pan. Set aside.

In a large bowl or in the bowl of your stand mixer, mash the bananas. On medium speed, beat or whisk in the remaining ingredients in the order listed. Batter will be a little thick, but still pourable.

Pour/spoon the mixture evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25-28 minutes or until the center is set (it will still look relatively soft!).

Remove from the oven and cool in the pan at room temperature for 30-60 minutes. After that, place the pan in the refrigerator for 1 hour until chilled. The bars are difficult to cut if they haven&#8217;t been chilled.

Remove bars from the pan using the overhang on the sides then cut into bars. Sometimes I drizzle melted peanut butter over each, but that&#8217;s optional. (Note: the parchment paper is always a little moist from soaking up some moisture from the bars.)

Cover leftover bars tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Love them. This is my second time making these. I add flax and brewers yeast to make them more lactation friendly. Thank you for sharing your recipes. I also appreciate that you use coconut sugar in the recipe. I’m trying to learn how to use it more.

Excellent! I've only tasted this while still warm, but so far sooo good. Now, manage your expectations because these are not cookies or cookie bars. They simply can not taste like something made with butter and wheat.  Sometimes you need a delicious treat that isn't loaded with butter, oil, wheat, or tons of sugar. Or maybe your going vegan for heart health! Whatever the reason you need a treat that is not as decadent as cookies are, this is an excellent option to have in your recipe book! My dad will say it needs raisins - but he likes raisins AND chocolate chips in banana bread!  I am going to try it with added walnuts next time!

This recipe is a home run! First baking doesn't get much easier than this. They aren't overly sweet but they are sweet enough to pass the kid/husband test. I can feed them to my fam as breakfast, snack, or dessert and not feel guilty. Also, they were super easy to make with my four-year-old. I can't wait to try the pumpkin ones next.   I used one egg in lieu of apple sauce because I was out of apple sauce. They held together perfectly and it was a really satisfying use of my very last egg in the house. Thanks, Sally!

These are fantastic! I have been trying out some new recipes in anticipation of back to school and these will be packed in my children's lunches regularly.  I substituted 2 tablespoons raw organic agave syrup for the sugar, used half rolled and half quick oats, reduced the chocolate chips to 1/2 cup, and added 1/2 cup raisins.  They turned out perfectly and my raisin hating child didn't even notice the raisins.

Love this recipe, thank-you!  Just to change it up today I added ground cloves (1 tsp).  Loved the result.

These peanut butter bars are thick, rich and heavenly! A thick layer of peanut butter with rolled oats mixed together making a creamy filling with a smooth chocolatey frosting that is an irresistible combination. 

Brown Sugar

Butter

Eggs

Salt

Baking Soda

Rolled Oats

Flour

Tablespoons Cocoa

Powdered Sugar

Milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, butter, and peanut butter.

Add the eggs, salt, baking soda, rolled oats, and flour.  Blend until until it is all mixed together.

Spread on a large 15x9 inch pan.  Bake for 15 minutes, no longer, and let cool completely.

After cooled spread a thin layer of peanut butter on top of the cookie.  I use about 1/2 cup and soften it in the microwave so it is easier to spread.

For the frosting, melt butter and add the cocoa.  Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.  Mix together very well and spread the final frosting layer on the very top.  Also I have found that if you let the bars chill with the frosting in the fridge for an hour, the frosting will set up faster so that you can consume them quicker. :)

These  peanut butter bars are a simple and delicious treat that require no baking! You just cream together peanut butter, butter, graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar and top with a chocolate topping. The result is a sweet, creamy bar, that you’re going to love with just five ingredients.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

graham cracker crumbs (1 1/2 sleeves)

butter (melted)

peanut butter (1 1/2 cups)

chocolate chips

Line a 9 X 13 baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Pour melted butter over the top and mix well with an electric mixer until creamy.

Press into the prepared pan.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate and 6 tablespoons of butter at medium power for 2 minutes stirring every 30 seconds until just melted. Stir until smooth and pour over the peanut butter mixture and smooth with an offset spatula or a knife.

Refrigerate for about 1-2 hours until the chocolate topping is firm. Remove bars from the pan using the edges of the parchment paper to lift out of the pan. Cut into bars, if the chocolate is too hard to cut without cracking, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes until it has slightly softened.

The BEST Lunch Lady Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

butter (softened)

brown sugar (firmly packed)

peanut butter (divided)

flour

milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar together.

Add vanilla, eggs, and 1 cup of the peanut butter; stir to combine.

Add oats, flour, baking soda and salt and mix until well combined.

Spray a baking sheet (half sheet jelly roll pan that is approximately 17.8 x 12.8 x 1 inch) with nonstick cooking spray and spread out dough in an even layer.

Bake for 15 minutes and remove from oven.

Drop remaining peanut butter (about 1 1/2 cups) by very small spoonfuls (we use a baby spoon) all over on top of warm bars. Let set for about 5-6 minutes and gently spread when peanut butter has begun to melt. It will spread easily when the peanut butter has softened on the warm bars. Don&#039;t try to spread it while still thick.

Then let the bars cool until peanut butter has set up.

While cooling, mix together frosting ingredients with a hand mixer until smooth and spread on top of bars.

Cut into bars and serve.
