Dump-and-Bake Pork Chop Casserole with Broccoli and Wild Rice

Preheat oven to 350F (180).

Spray an 8- or 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Place uncooked rice in the prepared dish.

Add broth and seasoning packet, whisking until combined. Stir in broccoli florets and diced onion.

Place butter on rice. Add pork chops on top, season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Cover dish tightly with foil.

Bake for 1 hour, or until rice is tender and pork is cooked through. Fluff the rice with a fork.

Switch oven to BROIL on high.

Sprinkle top of pork chops with Parmesan and add shredded mozzarella over all. Place casserole under the broiler (uncovered) for about 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown on top.

Whisk together the soup, broth, rice, garlic powder, dried chives, and onion powder. Transfer to the prepared dish.

Pat the pork chops dry; place on top of the rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the pork chops, to taste. If you don’t like a strong onion flavor or if you don’t want the chops too salty, use just a portion of the seasoning (not the whole packet).

Cover dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Check the pork chops at this point. If they are done (and have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F), remove them from the dish and set aside to rest. Give the rice a stir. If the rice isn’t quite tender yet, cover the dish again and return to the oven for about 10-15 more minutes, or just until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve with the pork chops. Garnish with herbs, if desired.

(10.75 oz) can cream of celery soup (or cream of chicken)

(32 oz) package frozen shredded hash browns, (thawed)

Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Then, preheat a large skillet over high heat. Pour in oil.

Season both sides of pork chops with salt, freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder.

Once skillet is nice and hot, add in pork chops and brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil. You will need to do this in batches. Be sure not to cook pork chops all the way through, they will finish cooking in the oven.

In a large bowl, combine sour cream, soup and milk.

Stir in hash browns and onion.

Top with pork chops.

Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until heated through and pork chops are fully cooked. If casserole is getting too brown while cooking, cover with alumiunm foil.

(16 ounces) frozen hash brown potatoes, (thawed)

Cheddar cheese, (divided)

(6 ounces) French-fried onions, (divided)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops with seasoned salt. (Can also add salt &amp; pepper or seasoning of your choice.)

Cook pork chops in hot oil until browned completely, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove pork chops to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

Mix condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Fold hash brown potatoes, 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, and about 3/4 of the French-fried onions into the soup mixture.

Pour into a 13x9-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray or buttered.

Arrange pork chops atop the mixture. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake in 350°F oven for 40 minutes.

After the casserole has baked for 40 minutes, carefully remove foil and cover the pork chops with remaining 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese and remaining French-fried onions.
