I added an extra tbsp of mayo and Greek yogurt, it was too dry otherwise. I had small dill pickles and would chop 4 instead of 2 next time and add a little extra onion. Flavor is good! Overall I really like this recipe, thanks.

Make Tuna Salad

In a large bowl, combine the tuna with the onions, pickles, celery, mayo, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Assemble Sandwiches

Lightly toast each slice of bread.

While the bread is toasting, make the tuna salad by combining the tuna, mayonnaise, dill, onion flakes, garlic powder, and paprika in a medium bowl.

Place the toasted bread on a baking sheet. Distribute the avocado slices among the 4 pieces of bread.

Place the tomato slices on top of the avocado.

Distribute the tuna salad on top of the tomato.

Place a slice of cheese on top of the tuna.

Place the baking sheet under the broiler on high for 3-4 minutes until the sandwich is hot and the cheese is melted.

425 grams/ 15 oz canned tuna

whole egg mayonnaise

finely diced celery ((1 stalk,

butter lettuce ((2 per sandwich))

Salted butter (, for spreading)

Filling - Put all the Tuna Filling ingredients in a bowl. Mix well using a wooden spoon, breaking up the tuna so the filling becomes fairly smooth. The pickles and celery will take a beating too which is encouraged -&gt; flavour melding!

Sandwich - Divide Tuna Filling between 4 sandwiches (or more/less depending on bread size). I butter the bread and use 2 pieces of lettuce per sandwich. Enjoy!

Add the drained albacore tuna into a medium size bowl then add in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sweet relish, red onion, Cajun seasoning, and black pepper.&nbsp;

Mix all of the ingredients together until they are fully combined. Set the tuna salad aside and toast the bread.&nbsp;

Add some butter or olive oil to a cast iron skillet and toast the bread on both sides until it is golden brown. Alternatively, you can use a toaster.

Once the bread is toasted, add equal portions of sliced avocado to each slice of bread. Then top the avocado with about ¼ cup of the prepared tuna salad and spread it out evenly.

Top the tuna with the lettuce. Cut the tunacado sandwich in half, and enjoy!
