Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.

Step 2

Sauté the ground beef or steak strips until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness—season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Step 3

Remove the meat mixture or steak from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

Add a bit more olive oil, if needed, in the same skillet and sauté the bell peppers and onions until they are soft and caramelized.

Step 5

Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface, flat surface.

Step 6

Place a small amount of the cooked steak, bell peppers, onions, and a slice of provolone cheese in the center of the wrapper. (Optional add cream cheese)

Step 7

Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom to the top, sealing the edges with a bit of water.

Step 8

Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F (190°C) for a few minutes.

Step 9

Lightly spray or brush the tops of the egg roll with olive oil to promote browning.

Step 10

Place egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.

Step 11

Air fry the egg rolls at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.

Step 12

Once cooked, remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
