Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°Fahrenheit (190°Celsius). Let the brie sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before baking.

Step 2

In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced pears and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add the honey and cook for another minute, until bubbly and slightly caramelized.

Step 3

Place the brie in a small baking dish or oven-safe ramekin. Spread the caramelized pears over the top of the brie.

Step 4

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the pears. If using, garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs.

Step 5

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brie is melted and bubbly.

Step 6

Carefully remove the brie from the oven and let it cool slightly for a few minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve warm with crusty bread or crackers for dipping. Enjoy!
