Take EQUAL quantities of Ginger and Garlic
Step 2
Wash the ginger very well , pat dry with paper towel and peel the skin.
Step 3
Peel the skin of garlic pods and cut the brown edge(see video)
Step 4
Now in a blender or food processor , without adding water, slowly pulse the ginger and garlic to a semi fine paste
Step 5
Scrape the sides every couple of pulses.
Step 6
Once the paste is done, add turmeric, salt and oil. Pulse few more times to mix well.
Step 7
Store in an airtight container(glass preferably) in the fridge. You can also portion the paste and freeze if you wish.
