Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a soft boil over medium heat. Stir to allow the sugar to dissolve.

Boil for 10- 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The Thanksgiving cranberry sauce will begin to thicken as the berries burst open, creating the texture of a cranberry jam.Taste test before removing from the heat. The homemade cranberry sauce will continue to thicken even after it's been removed from the heat.Finally, transfer it to a serving bowl and let cool down.

Fridge: It will keep for up to 2 weeks in an unopened, sterilized container in the fridge. Once opened, use it within 4 days.Freezer: Store in an air-tight freezer-friendly container or ice cube trays for up to 4-6 months. To use, simply defrost in the fridge overnight and enjoy.
