Step 1
Place water, salt and turmeric into mixing bowl. Place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and weigh rice into it. Rinse rice until water runs clear. Insert simmering basket with rice and weigh raisins into it. Add cinnamon quill and stir, then cook 15 min/100°C/speed 4.
Step 2
Remove simmering basket with aid of spatula. Place rice in a thermal serving bowl or serving dish. Remove and discard cinnamon quill. Add butter and brown sugar and stir with a fork to combine. Serve warm (see Tips).
