Step 1

Place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and weigh rice into it. Rinse rice until water runs clear.

Step 2

Place rinsed rice, water, oil, salt and turmeric into mixing bowl, then stir with spatula.

Step 3

Add cinnamon quill and raisins through hole in mixing bowl lid, then start Rice Cooker , placing simmering basket instead of measuring cup onto mixing bowl lid.

Step 4

Transfer rice into a thermal serving bowl or serving dish. Remove and discard cinnamon quill. Add butter and brown sugar and stir with a fork to combine. Serve warm (see Tips).
