Step 1

Marinate the cod fillet with salt and cooking wine for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Top the cod fillet with ginger and chili pepper.

Step 3

After the water starts to boil, continue to steam for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Remove from steamer, dress with seasoned soy sauce for seafood, and place the scallion to top.

Step 5

Heat oil in a cast iron pan until reaching smoke point, carefully pour the hot oil onto the fish.
