Step 1
In a container, add in glutinous rice, turmeric powder and water. Mix everything together. Leave to soak overnight.
Step 2
In a container, add in coconut milk, water, salt and mix well. Set aside.
Step 3
Drain the glutinous rice and place it in a steamer container. Steam for 15 minutes or until half cooked. Pour the glutinous rice in the coconut milk mixture and mix well until it's fully absorbed by the glutinous rice.
Step 4
Put the glutinous rice back in the steamer container and steam for another 25 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking. Ready to serve.
