Step 1
Combine milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg in a pitcher. Slowly add dry pudding powder, whisking constantly as you pour in pudding powder.
Step 2
Refrigerate for about an hour before serving to allow eggnog to thicken a bit.
Step 3
Sprinkle each serving with additional nutmeg.
