Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge Brownies

oz dark chocolate (chopped)

sugar

brown sugar (packed)

eggs (room temperature)

vanilla extract

all-purpose flour

cocoa powder

Preheat the oven to 350ºF/180ºC/155ºC Fan&nbsp;Grease 13x9 inch baking pan

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup dark chocolate chips on medium power in 30-second intervals until just melted

Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted. Remove from heat.

Whisk in the sugar and brown sugar right into the pot. Once combined,  whisk in the eggs &amp; egg yolks one at a time, then the vanilla &amp; salt followed by the melted chocolate. 

With a wooden spoon, stir in the flour and cocoa powder until evenly combined.&nbsp;Fold in the chocolate chips.

Spread into the pan and set aside while you make the topping.

For the topping:

Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Blend in peanut butter &amp; golden syrup, followed by the egg.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend it into the peanut butter mixture. Mix until smooth.

Crumble the peanut butter mixture over the brownie mixture in the pan.

Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Place the pan in the oven and set your timer for 25 minutes. When the timer goes off, open the oven, pull the shelf out and gently shake the pan. If the brownie wobbles in the middle, it’s not quite done so slide it back in and bake for another 5 minutes until the topping is golden brown &amp; the sides are just beginning to come away from the pan. remove from the oven and cool the brownies for an hour before removing from the pan and slicing.

The brownies will keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days, and the brownies actually get even better after a day.

Healthy Greek Yogurt Brownies

vanilla Greek yogurt

Cup Coconut sugar

Large eggs

Oz Dark chocolate, (divided)

Tbsp Coconut oil

Cup Cocoa powder ((42 grams))

Tbsp Cornstarch ((9 grams))

tsp Baking soda

Heat your oven to 325 degrees and line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar and eggs.

Place 4oz of the chocolate, and the oil, into a small, microwave safe bowl and microwave until smooth and melted, about 1 minute. Whisk into the egg mixture

Whisk in the cocoa powder, cornstarch, soda and salt. Then, roughly chop the remaining chocolate and stir it in.

Spread into the pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 22-23 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.

Immediately transfer into the fridge (I put them on a cooling pad) for 15 minutes. Then, remove and finish cooling on the counter completely.

Slice and DEVOUR!

First of all, as many commenters have pointed out, the 3/5 hours thing was very confusing.. also mine turned out completely burnt on the outside and pretty mushy on the top/middle. Failure of a recipe.. huge waste of ingredients 💔

I made these and they are super yummy.  However on low they took about 6 hours to cook.  We'll worth the wait time....with vanilla ice cream on the top they are absolutely delicious.

Terrible. 

First of all, the top says 3-hours & the body of recipe says 5 -hours.

Checked it at 3-hours & still soft in the middle.

6-hours --- the sides are all burn, middle is still soft.

Don't even waste your time with this recipe.

Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a 13 x 9 pan with foil or parchment. Spray the foil or parchment with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl, mix sugar, flour cinnamon, baking soda and sale. Blend well.

In another medium bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs and vanilla. Stir in chopped apples. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.

Spread in prepared pan.

For the topping, in a small bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut the butter in with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over batter in pan.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a rack. Lift the cooled cookies out of the pan by grabbing the edges of the foil or parchment. Cut into bars.

I really loved this but felt it needed more chocolate could I add chocolate chips to the pecan filling and what type? Will definitely be making it again!

I totally agree that the recipe needs updated with correct cooking time.  I did 25 & 25, but wish I did less for the second set.  Also, definitely use 1 box for 8x8 or 2 boxes for 9x13. Lastly, we thought there were way too many pecans (& we love pecans).  It lacked the gelatinous part of pecan pie.  Unless it’s because I used a combination of chopped & whole pecans.  Next time I’m going to see how 2 cups Pecans turns out. Overall, everyone thought this recipe was worth another try with tweaks.

I used a fudge brownie mix  for a 13x9 pan. The cook time was far too long. The brownies are dry and cakie 😐

Sister made these and let me say it's really good! Gives a different taste to brownies
