green onion (finely sliced)

garlic powder

Preheat 1 inch of oil to 325°F over medium heat.

In a small bowl, gently combine crab meat, cream cheese, green onion, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.

Layout 3 wonton wrappers at a time. Place 2 teaspoons of the filling in the center of each. Dab the edges with water and fold the two opposite corners together to form a triangle. Wet the tips of the triangle and fold inward. Continue until all of your filling is used up.

Drop the wontons into the hot oil for 2-3 minutes or until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

To Fry

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Assemble wontons as above and spray each with cooking spray. Bake 12-14 minutes.

Preheat air fryer at 350ºF for 5 minutes.

 In large bowl, mix, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Using a fork, break up large chunks of crab. 

Place 1-1 ½ teaspoons of filling mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush all edges with beaten egg. Bringing up diagonal corners, seal wontons. 

Spray lightly with oil and place in air fryer in a single layer. Don’t overcrowd. Cook them in batches. Cook for 6 minutes or until golden brown.

Mix all the cream cheese, crab meat, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Stir to blend well. Place about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the middle of a wonton wrapper. Dab some water on the outer edges of the wonton wrapper and fold the two ends of the wrapper together. Fold the other two ends to make a tiny parcel pictured below.  Pinch to seal tight and make sure that there is no leakage.

Monterey Jack cheese, divided

Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray.

Place sourdough pieces on the baking sheet. Lightly brush the bread with olive oil on both sides. Transfer to the oven and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 5-6 minutes; let cool and set aside.

Lightly coat a 9-inch baking dish or cast iron skillet with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream. Stir in 1/2 cup of the Monterey Jack cheese, Parmesan, scallions, Worcestershire, soy sauce, orange juice, Sriracha and garlic powder; and a little sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste. Gently fold in the lump crab meat.

Spread crab mixture into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese.

Place into oven and bake until bubbly and golden, about 20-25 minutes.

Serve immediately with the sourdough chips.

Preheat oven to broil setting high.

Cut won ton wrappers in half diagonally.

Place won ton wrappers evenly onto a baking sheet.

Sprinkle with salt and coat with nonstick spray

Let them cool and set aside.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Lightly coat a 9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Crab Dip

This crab rangoon recipe is real crab meat mixed with cream cheese and seasonings, then folded into wontons and cooked to golden brown perfection. You can either bake or fry your crab rangoon for a restaurant quality result!

Place the crab meat, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and green onions in a bowl. Stir to combine.

Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and drop 2 teaspoons of the crab mixture into the center. Brush the edges of the wonton with the egg.

Bring 2 opposite corners together in the middle of the wonton and pinch. Repeat with the other 2 corners and pinch to form a package shape.

Repeat with the remaining wontons and crab mixture until all are filled.

Heat 4 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350 degrees F

Fry 5-6 wontons at a time, turning them as needed to make sure they brown evenly. This process should take about 3-5 minutes.&nbsp;

Drain the cooked wontons on paper towels and repeat the frying process with remaining wontons.

Serve immediately with dipping sauce of choice and garnish with more sliced green onions.
