This easy Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler is our favorite peach dessert! Make it in your oven or over campfire. It doesn&#x27;t get any better than this classic recipe!

Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler

unsalted butter

peaches (about 5-6 large or 8-9 small/medium peaches)

honey

cornstarch

vanilla extract

cinnamon

ginger

sugar

white whole wheat flour

all purpose flour

baking powder

salt

milk

Vanilla ice cream (homemade whipped cream, Greek yogurt, or a pour of heavy cream)

If baking in the oven, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (See recipe notes to if cooking this cobbler over a campfire.) Place the butter in the bottom of a 10-inch dutch oven or a 3-quart baking dish with high sides. Once the butter is melted, remove the dish from the oven.

To quickly and easily peel the peaches: Bring a very large pot with enough water to cover the peaches to a boil. While the water comes to a boil, prepare an ice bath by placing a handful of ice cubes in a large bowl and then filling it with cold water. Once the water is boiling, with a slotted spoon or tongs to protect your fingers, gently lower the peaches into the water. Add the peaches in two batches so that the water temperature does not rapidly drop. Boil for 1 minute. Remove peaches from the pot and plunge into the ice bath to stop the cooking. The skins can now be easily slipped off with your fingers. Cut peaches into 1/3-ish inch wide slices, then place the slices into a large mixing bowl. If you prefer, you can peel the peaches with a vegetable peeler.

To the bowl with the peaches, add the honey, cornstarch, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir gently to combine. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, prepare the topping. Whisk together the sugar, white whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, and whisk to combine. Gently pour the batter over the melted butter. DO NOT STIR. Now, carefully spoon the fruit and any juices that have collected in the bottom of the bowl on top of the batter. Again, DO NOT STIR.

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until the topping is deep golden at the edges and a toothpick inserted in the middle of the topping (not the peach filling) comes out clean. The topping will rise above the peaches, puff up, and turn golden so that you have a cake with fruit beneath. Serve the cobbler warm with whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, or our family favorite: a pour of heavy cream.

Simple Peach Syrup Recipe

Remove the pits from the peaches, and slice each one into pieces.

Add the sliced peaches, sugar, and water to a large skillet. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.

Let the mixture boil, stirring often for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the skillet from heat and let the syrup cool. It will thicken as it cools.

Let the mixture cool for roughly 30 minutes, then press the mixture through a fine sieve or strainer.

Transfer the pressed syrup into a clean glass jar, and discard the pulp.

Store the syrup in a sealed jar, refrigerated, for 3-4 weeks.

Add the sliced peaches to a medium size bowl.

&nbsp;Add 1/4 cup sugar and toss to coat.&nbsp;

Allow peaches to sit for about 20 minutes, to allow the sugar to pull some of the juice out of them.

Meanwhile, make the crumb topping by combining all ingredients.&nbsp;

Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or fork until the mixture resembles small crumbs. Refrigerate the mixture until ready to use.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Drain the peaches, reserving the peach juice, and placing the peaches in a large bowl.&nbsp;

Measure out 1/4 cup of the peach juice and add it to a small bowl (you can discard the rest, or drink it because it's delicious!).&nbsp;

Stir in the flour, lemon juice, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.&nbsp;

Pour mixture over peaches and toss to combine.&nbsp;

Pour peaches into a 8x8'' or similar size dish.&nbsp;

Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the top.&nbsp;

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and top is set.&nbsp;

Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.&nbsp;

Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

There&#039;s nothing like making your own Homemade Peach Ice Cream. It&#039;s filled with fresh peaches, real cream, and no eggs.

Homemade Peach Ice Cream

(14 oz sweetened condensed milk)

box (3.4 oz vanilla INSTANT pudding)

(12 oz evaporated milk)

half & half cream

Peel and dice the peaches, then place them in a bowl. Mash with a fork and leave some pulp. Stir well, then place in the refrigerator for an hour.

In the freezer bowl container of your ice cream maker, add the sweetened condensed milk, instant vanilla pudding, and evaporated milk. Whisk until smooth.

Add peaches and half &amp; half. Whisk again.

Place the container in the ice cream maker and put the lid on. Pack the outside with rock salt and ice in layers until it reaches the top. 

Turn on the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. 

When churning stops, remove the stainless container. If ice cream is solid enough, serve right away.

If ice cream needs to be more solid, put in a plastic container and freeze for a few hours until hard.

Here's what you've been waiting for ~ Three Ingredient Peach Pie.  It's hard to believe something with just three ingredients could be so delicious! 

Three Ingredient Peach Pie

refrigerated pie crust

peach jam

peaches (with peeling attached)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Roll out refrigerated pie crust to make it large enough to fit in the bottom of a pie plate and leave a 2 inch overlap on top.  

Place pie crust in bottom of pie plate.

For a thicker filling, mix peach jam with 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and spread jam on pie crust.

Thinly slice 6 fresh peaches in half moon shape.

Arrange slices in a circular pattern on top of jam. Start on the outside and press into jam as you go. Finish with another circular pattern in the middle.

Fold 2 inch overlap over peaches, leaving a large area open in the middle.

Brush pie crust with melted butter.  Dust with sugar if desired.

Bake at 450 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.

Cool pie completely before serving so it has time to set.

Peach, burrata, and basil salad is one of those non-recipe recipes that's a riff on Caprese salad. Arrange some oozing pieces of burrata cheese on a plate, top with peach chunks, and toss in some basil.

Halve the peach(es) and remove the pit. Cut the peach into bite-size chunks or slices.

Season

Place the peaches in a bowl, drizzle with the oil, and season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Stir in the basil.

Arrange

Using your fingers, gently pull or tease the burrata into large pieces and arrange them on plates or a platter. Top with the peach mixture. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

These peach cobbler cinnamon rolls are a very gooey and soft roll. It is filled with brown sugar/ cinnamon, peach jam, and cinnamon crumb topping. They are topped with cream cheese icing. This recipe is perfect if you want to use fresh or frozen peaches.

Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls

Milk (warmed to 110°F)

tsp Active dry yeast (1 packet or 11 grams)

Large eggs (slightly beaten room temperature)

All-purpose flour

Salt

White granulated sugar

TBSP Unsalted butter (room temperature)

Unsalted butter (room temperature)

Brown sugar (packed light or dark)

TBSP Ground cinnamon

oz Peaches (or 3-4 medium peaches. Peeled and sliced)

Lemon juice

Unsalted butter (melted)

oz Cream cheese (room temperature)

tsp Pure vanilla extract

Powdered sugar (sifted)

Milk

TBSP Peach jam (*optional)

Rest

Warm the milk in the microwave until 110°F. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let sit for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and sugar. Add the cubed butter. Use a pastry cutter, a fork, or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour. It should be the size of a pea.

Knead

Add the milk/yeast mixture and the lightly beaten eggs. Use a stand mixer with a dough hook and mix on low until a dough starts to form. Turn to medium speed and knead for 5 minutes. * making by hand instructions in the recipe notes.

Rise

Preheat the oven to 200°F. Spray a large bowl with nonstick spray and place the dough in the bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Place the bowl in the oven, turn off the oven, and crack open the door. Let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size. You can also store it in any warm place.

Dough

Heat

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix the peaches, sugar, and lemon juice together. Heat for 5-10 minutes. The peaches will begin to release their juices and it will become a jam. Let it thicken. It will equal to 1 1/4 cup of jam when it is done cooking. Let it cool completely.

Peach Jam

Combine

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Combine brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, salt, flour, and melted butter. Mix with a fork. Mix until combined and there are large chunks.

Bake

Spread on the cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. It will harden as it cools. Let cool completely. Then, break the large chunks.

Cinnamon Crumb Topping

Using a mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt together until smooth like a paste.

Roll

Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin. Roll until 1/4 inch thickness into a large rectangle.

Spread

Spread the cinnamon filling over all of the dough using an offset spatula.

Spread the 1 cup of the cooled jam on top of the filling. Leave a border around the edges. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cinnamon crumb topping on top.

Roll the dough into a log starting on the short side. Use a serrated knife to cut off the uneven ends. Use a measuring tape to get an even 12 rolls. Use the serrated knife to create light sawing movements.

Spray a 9X13-inch pan with baking nonstick spray. Place the rolls evenly into the pan. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake the rolls for 23-26 minutes until the tops are lightly golden.

Cinnamon Filling

Prep

Start the icing while the rolls are baking.

Beat

Using a hand mixer, beat the butter and cream cheese on high speed for 1 minute. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla and mix on low until combined. Switch to high and beat until smooth.

Add the milk and mix until creamy. You can more or less milk depending on how thick you want your glaze. Mix in the peach jam.

Spread the icing immediately on the hot rolls by using a spoon. When they are hot, the icing will melt into the cracks. Sprinkle extra cinnamon crumb topping on top. Serve warm.
