To a pot with 2 cups (480 ml) of boiling water add the ramen seasoning packet and a tablespoon of butter. Stir until the butter melts and then add the ramen noodle cube and cook until the noodles become tender, 2 minutes. Pour the ramen into a bowl.

To the prepared ramen, add the peanut butter, Sriracha, and sesame oil and stir to incorporate.

Garnish with the peanuts, cilantro, jalapeño, and a lime wedge.

Combine the peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl until it forms a smooth paste.

Bring a small pot of water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, take ¼ cup of the water and stir it into the peanut-chili paste until it forms a smooth, pourable sauce.

Add the ramen noodles (without seasoning packet) to the boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes, or just until the noodles are tender.

Drain the noodles, then return them to the pot with the heat turned off. Pour the peanut sauce over top and stir to combine. Top with sliced green onions and serve immediately.

20-Minute Chicken Ramen Stir Fry

chicken stock

soy sauce

cornstarch

rice wine vinegar

broccoli florets

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth. Add chicken stock, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger and whisk again. Set aside.

Heat a bowl or pot of water until steaming. Add ramen noodles and let soak until tender. Once tender, drain.

Heat a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of the oil.

Once hot, add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Saute until chicken is cooked through, 4-5 minutes. Remove chicken to a plate and set aside.

Add remaining oil, followed by broccoli. Cook until broccoli is bright green and tender.

Add sauce to pan and toss to coat. Let cook until sauce reduces slightly, about 2 minutes. Add chicken and noodles to pan and toss to coat.

Top with green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy!

5 Minute Vegan Ramen

Start by bringing 350-400ml of water to a boil in a small pot. In another pot, bring water to a boil for the noodles.

In the meantime, add the vegan mentsuyu, mushroom stock powder, salt, pepper, sesame seeds and scallion oil to a warmed bowl and whisk to combine. 

Once the water for the noodles begins to bubble, add in the agar agar and whisk for a few seconds. Once the water is heated, add it to the noodle bowl and stir. By now the water for the noodles should be boiling so drop them in and cook for the amount of time recommended on the packaging*.

Spaghetti Ramen: How to Make Ramen Noodles with Pasta

Bring a pot of water to a boil and carefully add in baking soda (it will fizz). Add salt and stir. Drop in the pasta and cook for the time instructed on manufactures box. Continue to cook 2-3 minutes longer.

Drain and rinse to remove any baking soda taste. Use immediently and add to prepared ramen broth. Enjoy!

I followed the recipe exactly and didn't have any problems with the sauce being too thin or not flavorful. I loved it! I used my cast iron pan to get the meatballs nice and seared. I feel like it cooks very evenly too.

Made this tonight and it was wonderful.  I didn't put ramen seasoning in, as it didn't call for it in the recipe.  I used a little of my noodle water to thicken the sauce and it worked a charm.  Went light on the red chili flakes, since I don't like really spicy stuff, and used ground ginger since I didn't have fresh, and it did the job.

We loved this recipe! It was definitely best with a homemade hoisin sauce! We tried it with store bought and homemade and the flavor was way better with homemade! And its super easy to make a homemade hoisin sauce. Much more flavorful. I'm guessing the people who say this recipe lacked in flavor used a bland store sauce, because this was super flavorful!! Yum yum yum! We are making this again tonight.

We massacred this recipe and it still tasted great! No green onions so we added red onion. No panko breadcrumbs so we used Italian. Used already grated garlic and ginger from jars. Used vermicelli rice sticks instead of ramen. Went great with steamed broccoli.

Followed recipe and directions as is, except I did add 1 TBSP of corn starch to thicken the sauce. It was DELICIOUS! Even my picky toddler wanted seconds & polished his plate clean. Thanks for a quick, easy, and yummy dinner recipe!

Love this recipe. I make it on a weekly basis! I used oyster sauce instead of hoisin sauce and everything bagel seasoning instead of seasame seeds, bc it's what I had in the house and it's delicious!

This was so yummy. I had to make some adjustments due to a sesame allergy in the family. I used canola oil instead of sesame oil. I didn’t have green onions, and the kids wouldn’t like them anyway, so I added steamed broccoli at the end. I threw in some matchstick-cut carrots with the ginger (I probably used more than 2 tsp of fresh ginger, too.) I listened to other reviewers and left out the ramen seasoning and cut down the soy sauce a bit. I used 1/3 cup soy sauce and added lime juice to the measuring cup to make 1/2 cup of liquid. I added 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, too.  It did not taste overly salty in the end. I will definitely make it again!

Made this tonight and it was delicious! One of our new favorites!!! Followed the recipe to a tee and just noticed that the video shows cornstarch being used for the sauce but there’s no mention of it in the written recipe. Can anyone suggest how much cornstarch should be used? Without was so good but would like to try with and see the difference!

I ended up doctoring the recipe, I saw someone mentioned cornstarch, so I thickened the sauce. Honestly, it was a bit salty, and I did not add the seasoning packets from the ramen. I added some extra water to the sauce when I was thickening, and ended up throwing in lime juice to make the flavor pop. (another comment mentioned the sauce didn't pop at them.) After making the adjustments, the sauce turned out good. The kids scarfed the food down quickly and went back for seconds.

This quick soy garlic chicken instant ramen is a sauced noodle recipe rather than a soup, with crispy Korean-inspired pan-fried chicken.

Soy Garlic Chicken Instant Ramen

Maruchan Gold Soy Sauce Flavor Ramen

Bring 6 cups of water to a boil for the noodles. Quickly coat the chicken using 1 of the sauce packets. Then immediately dredge the chicken pieces in potato starch on both sides.

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add the oil, and pan-fry the chicken until crispy on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan, and set aside.

To the pan you cooked the chicken in (over medium heat), add the shallot and garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the shallots begin to turn translucent. Add the second sauce packet, mirin, sesame seeds, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and gochujang, if using. Simmer for about 3 minutes, until thickened. 

Meanwhile, add the noodles to boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and add the noodles to the pan of sauce along with the scallion. Toss to coat, and divide into 2 bowls. Top with the chicken, and serve.

We’re making instant ramen in a mug for this simple recipe and adding tasty frozen veggies, chili, some stock, and spring onions for a bit of crunch. It’s a quick way to amp up the flavor of a basic ramen packet. For this recipe, you need a large mug. It has to fit the soup, noodles, and vegetables. You can also use a larger bowl and add a larger quantity of ingredients.

Microwave for about 2 to 3 minutes. It depends on your microwave, but it might take a minute longer. Check after 2.5 minutes.

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook for 2 minutes, then add the flavor pack.

Cook for another 3 minutes, then turn off the heat and crack in the egg, but do not mix it in. Pull the hot noodles gently over the raw egg and allow the egg to poach, about 3 more minutes.

Carefully pour the ramen into your serving bowl of choice, making sure not to break the egg.
