World's Greatest Low Carb Keto Waffles

eggs

oz cream cheese

almond flour*

coconut oil

baking powder

  Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  Pour the batter into a pre-heated, lightly greased waffle maker and bake according to manufacturer&#8217;s directions. (Usually 2-3 minutes.)

These were good, but mine came out dry when using coconut oil. Next time I'll try butter.
Also, it only filled my square waffle iron about 3/4, so I'll make half again as much next time.

These are the best waffles.  I’m new to Keto diet and was afraid it would be another cardboard recipe. ( still getting used to cooking with almond flour).

Amazing!!!  I had didn't have high hopes for this recipe, but it was simple the straightforward ingredients and instructions that peaked my interest.  WOW WOW WOW!! I followed to the letter using 4Tbsp of Almond flour and 1Tbsp butter, and the recipe gave me 4 waffles! Perfect for breakfast, but I have been using them for sandwiches!! Today was a big batch day, so now I have enough made for 8 servings of 2 waffles.  I also tried using a garlic and herb spreadable cream cheese, and they turned out great!!!! This will be a weekly make, they are fantastic!! I love that they have simple ingredients because I live on a small tropical island and things like monk fruit, erythritol, and phylum husk... just do not exist here!! Thank you again for this!!

Made this recipe today for my kiddos and they loved it! I kinda eye balled the ingredients so I know I used more than I should’ve but here’s what I did; 3/4 cup of almond flour, 2-3 oz cream cheese, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 2 xtra large eggs beat with mixer and pour to un-greased mini waffle maker! Made 7 of them!!! Soooooo good and saving this recipe for Saturday mornings! Thank you

This recipe was as equally simple as it was yummy. I was totally impressed with how cake like the taste was. My 3 yr old and I made them together and used her heart shaped waffle maker to make a total of about 8 waffles. She loved them, as did my husband and mom. Thanks so much for sharing this gem.

My husband and I have been eating keto and love trying new recipes. We have been looking for a simple ingredient, yummy recipe for waffles and this is it! He's quite picky and he truly loved it! I’m so confused. All the ratings are awesome, but I had no success with this recipe AT ALL. I quadrupled the recipe to get 4 waffles. I used 8oz cream cheese, 4 tablespoons melted kerrygold, 16 tablespoons almond flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda, and 8 eggs. They turned out terrible. The batter was so runny that it kept pouring out of my waffle iron all over my counter. The waffles turned out thin and not thick or bready at all. I’m so sad....guess I should’ve tried a single waffle first. What could’ve went wrong??

This really is the best keto waffle recipe I have tried. I won't go back to the grainy flax ones again. I made these in my hotel room! I used a blender bottle (be patient - the cream cheese WILL incorporate with just a few small lumps!) and my mini waffle maker. Take that $11 hotel breakfast that wouldn't be keto anyway! I had baking soda instead of powder, so I halved the amount, and it worked just fine.  :) Even my picky father in law didn't find any reason to complain. LOL! Thank you for a great recipe!!

Really amazing!  I have a low-carb, gluten-free bakery and these are the best I’ve had.  I added a 2 teaspoons of Sukrin Gold and a dash of vanilla bean paste then topped with Nature’s Hollow sugar free raspberry syrup and a dallop of swerve confectioners-sweetened whipped cream and everyone raved about the waffle “dessert.”  I used 1/4 C almond flour (4T) and got a nice thick batter.  It was more than my Belgian waffle maker would hold so the recipe made 1.5 waffles for me.  Keep up the great work!

love the waffle, I did add frozen blueberry and few drops of vanilla, and it was perfect. topped it with a choc zero mapple sirup.

This was so good and easy to make! I didn’t have baking powder so I did a teaspoon of baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice. I also added a few drops of vanilla flavoring. My husband LOVED it

Omg, FINALLY!!! I've been looking for a good keto waffle recipe for SO LONG!! Just yesterday I tried one with 3 times the amount of ingredients that had me folding in peaked eggwhites and using every bowl and utensil I had and all I had at the end was waffle-shaped cardboard and a trashed kitchen... I almost gave up! But I saw this and the reviews and that it was at least easy. I'm SO glad I tried it! This was so quick and easy, and the taste AND texture were great! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Thank you for this recipe! Just made it and it couldn’t haven’t been easier and it was very tasty! I used my ninja single serve cup to blend, added sf vanilla extract and a little cinnamon. Ate it warm with butter and sf syrup. Yum yum!! I followed your advice and cut the belgium waffle in half. I imagine it will be even better after being toasted for left overs. Thanks again!

I recently discovered the concept of "chaffles" and immediately ordered the well-known "Dash" mini-waffle maker from Amazon. I shredded a bit over two ounces of an aged, semi-hard cheddar cheese from Aldi into a steel mixing bowl with two whole jumbo eggs, your suggested 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and approximately 3-1/2 tablespoons of a well-ground almond meal (Trader Joe's "Just Almond Meal") before vigorously mixing the lot with a fork — no blender. Nor did I add any oil to the recipe beyond dabbing a bit of saved bacon grease on the hot griddle with a paper towel.

After the waffle maker indicated full heating by turning off that blue LED light at the top, I cautiously poured some of the mixture into the griddle. The first dollop was too much, and the overflow gushed out all over the front as the baking powder sprang into action. LMAO! But after four minutes and some interesting smoke, I unplugged the Dash. Opening the lid revealed a lightly browned concoction that separated easily from the griddle with the smallest urging from a fork. Mmmm. Mmmm! Bready with a distinct cheese flavor and only a hint of egginess!

In short, even my rough and ready adaptation of your excellent recipe come out very nicely! I'm planning on trying the cream cheese version with a touch of vanilla and possibly Walmart's "Great Value" sugar-free pancake syrup. My mangled version of your recipe would have produced about four mini waffles had I not repeatedly over-poured, which wasted a fair mount of batter. Two more waffles are now crisping up on the counter under a paper towel, awaiting later snacking. :-)

I used my mini waffle maker....that makes all low carb waffles and waffles better! Just have your oven on low to hold them until they are all cooked. I only used 2 Tbs almond flour for the whole recipe. I ate the whole amount for 4.4 net carbs.

I have been Keto for 2 years and I have tried SO many waffle recipes. They always cook up soggy - and there is nothing less appetizing than a soft, squishy waffle. Truthfully, I didn't have much hope this time, either, but I plowed ahead as I was really craving a hot, crispy waffle breakfast.  I have a Dash mini waffle maker that I just purchased to keep from having to use my large Belgian waffler for just one person. I used 1 egg, about 3 tablespoons almond flour, 1 tablespoon cream cheese I softened slightly in the microwave , 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil and a 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. I mixed all the ingredients together in a small, deep bowl with a silicone spatula - less clean up than a blender for such a little amount. One third of the batter filled my Dash for 1 waffle and the recipe made 3 waffles. These are AMAZING!! They baked up crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and with no eggy taste. I put this recipe in Cronometer and the macros were: 2.85 net carbs, 26.2 fats, 11.7 protein and 302.8 calories. And such a delicious and filling breakfast. I will be making these exclusively!

While I definitely didn't find these to be the best ever waffles or even keto waffles, I did like them. My boyfriend thought the coconut oil flavor was too strong. I love the taste of coconut oil and felt it was the only thing really giving these any flavor so I liked it. I used the 1 egg to 3 tablespoons ratio. If I make them again I would maybe add a bit of vanilla extract, salt, and maybe a combination of coconut flour and almond flour to try and improve the flavor. The texture was great!

I made this recipe today and I thought it was really good. I used only 3 Tbs of almond flour, and added 2 scoops of Dulce de Leche protein powder with maybe a tablespoon of almond milk. I also used a mini waffle maker instead.  I got 5 mini waffles. I ate 3 and will freeze the other two for tomorrow! The waffles were fluffy, and tasted yummy. I'm sure I changed the nutritional value but I am working on reducing my carbs, not quite ready for full Keto.

These keto pancakes are one of the first recipes I ever made, and I’ve been working on it ever since. This is by far my favorite version, it’s so much like the real thing!

The Original Keto Pancakes Recipe

cinnamon

vanilla extract

coconut flour

Stevia Glycerite

tsp baking powder

Blend or beat together all of the ingredients until smooth in a bowl or blender.

Heat a medium skillet, and grease with a healthy amount of salted butter or coconut oil and bring to medium-high heat.

Expect to make two pancakes, one at a time. They will be thinner than traditional pancakes, but you’ll make them just the same. Cook most of the way on one side (wait until you see the bubbles), then flip!

Once you’ve made and plated your pancakes, top them with butter and berries and/or sugar-free maple syrup (check your labels, they aren’t all created equal!)

I substitute sugar for granular Swerve and add a pinch of ground cinnamon to make it less "eggy" tasting. Don't even need SF syrup to eat them unless you want to.

Pretty good, and I would also eat them again. Batter reminded me of a crepe. Don't be like me and actually listen to the "Pour about ¼ cup batter into the pan" part - I tried to make one, giant über pancake and it ended up being delicious but also very delicate and broke into multiple pieces upon flipping. 

Flavor is mild so definitely plan to add toppings - the suggested strawberries, syrup, and powdered sugar are good, as is nutella, bananas, assorted other berries, etc. Yum yum yum.

This is the Only low carb pancake recipe I’ve liked.

If you're searching for the best keto pancakes recipe, then look no further than my famous keto cream cheese pancakes! Low carb, nut free, and gluten free, they are guaranteed to up your keto breakfast game!

Keto Cream Cheese Pancakes - Low Carb

granulated sugar substitute (IBIH recommends)

Put all ingredients in a blender or magic bullet. Blend until smooth.

Let rest for 2 minutes so the bubbles can settle.

Pour 1/4 of the batter into a hot pan greased with butter or pam spray.

I am committed to getting my health back on track in the new year. These pancakes looked like the perfect breakfast replacement. Carbs are definitely my weakness. I was surprised at how easy they were, and I already had all of the ingredients on hand. They made a perfect substitute for traditional pancakes. I could eat these and not miss the old ones at all. They sort of reminded me of the taste of French toast... they had that “bready” mouth feel (which is a good thing!) but not with an overpowering egg taste like some other keto pancakes I’ve tried. Low Carb Cream Cheese Pancakes – Keto & Gluten Free

These are the best gluten free, paleo, fluffy almond pancakes. They are high protein and will keep you fuller  a lot longer than any other regular pancake recipe.

Super fluffy almond flour pancakes

almond flour

coconut sugar

tsp salt

eggs (at room temperature)

tsp vanilla extract

almond milk (at room temperature)

apple cider vinegar

tbsp coconut oil (melted)

First, start by mixing the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Starting with the almond flour, baking powder, coconut sugar and salt.

Then, in a separate bowl mix the whisk ingredients together. starting with the eggs, vanilla extract, almond milk, apple cider vinegar, and coconut oil.

Then pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix just until everything is well incorporated.

Preheat an oiled pan on the stove at medium-low heat and pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the center of the pan and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes. You will know when it&#x27;s ready to flip when little bubbles start to form on top of it.  Flip it and let it cook for another minute of so.

These almond flour pancakes are light and fluffy and all around delicious! They're naturally grain-free, gluten-free and keto friendly. 

Fluffy Almond Flour Pancakes

tsp baking powder

tsp salt

almond milk

tsp coconut oil, melted and cooled

tsp vanilla extract

extra oil

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. 

Mix the wet ingredients together in a bowl. 

Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix just until combined. 

Heat some oil in a large skillet on medium heat and pour a ladle of the batter into the pan. Let cook for about 2-3 minutes until little bubbles start to form on top, then flip and let cook for another minute. 

Serve with your favourite toppings like blueberries, yogurt or maple syrup!

The batter was a little thicker than I expected - got five full pancakes and one tiny one out of it.  (maybe because I used a 1/4-cup to pour out the batter...or regular 1% milk instead of almond milk?  :) )

I had try to make double the recipe portions just to serve 2 ppl. Produced 3 pancakes each. 

Almond batter also burnt more easily so make sure your heat is low.

I have recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance. I have tried over 10 almond flour pancakes/waffle recipes and none of them can compare to this one. When I cooked the pancakes in a pan they would always burn. I bought a 4” waffle maker and it was a game changer. I used this pancake recipe in the waffle maker (1/4 cup scoop of batter) and they were just like an Eggo waffle

I made your recipe and loved it! I did use butter instead of coconut oil and whole milk instead of almond milk. Since the butter had salt, next time I won't use salt.  I have a waffle maker that makes (2) 4-inch waffles; I have to try waffles next.  Thank you for your great recipe!!

Made these this morning. Added a thin spread of natural peanut butter and a few slices of banana.

i made my vegan lemon ricotta pancakes with this recipe for my mom and she was so surprised at how good they were being gluten and dairy free!!

These pancakes were very delicious.  I have come to really like the flavor and texture that almond flour gives to baked goods, but I was afraid they wouldn’t make good pancakes because of the lack of gluten and thus elasticity and fluffiness.  But this is awesome!!   I made it exactly as written, except I used duck eggs instead of chicken eggs, and the pancakes were an amazing golden color and very tender. I just made these pancakes for my kid's birthday breakfast and they were amazing!! The only change I made was using almond extract because I ran out of vanilla.  Only half the amount of almond extract was used per other website recommendations for substitutions. This is a keeper and was so easy to make! The gluten free recipe was not at all tedious for me considering I usually use boxed mixes for convenience. Thank you for my full and happy belly!

OMG! I love pancakes so much and when I started watching my carbs I thought I would never be able to fit them into my diet again. These are so good and so easy to make. I tried adding frozen fruit I had thawed to some of them and this didn't work out so well so next time I'll try adding fresh fruit that I've rinsed and thoroughly dried instead. Even plain with no add-ins these pancakes are as wonderful as can be. I was in doubt as to how they would turn out because super fine almond flour looks grainy but the texture becomes more cornbread like and soft. These have made me very happy. They fit well within my carbs goals and add the filling protein I need to make pancakes as a standalone meal if desired. Thank you!

good base recipe.  i added twice the salt and liquid (a mixture of equal parts half and half and Silk unsweetened coconut milk), plus two tablespoons Tapioca flour to help bind it, and it came out perfect!

That picture doesn't do this recipe justice! I grew up on homemade pancakes and am now watching the carbs. So, like another reviewer, I thought I would never be able to enjoy my favorite comfort food again. Now, cue the angels singing...I LOVE THESE PANCAKES!!! This is the 4th almond flour pancake recipe I have tried and I'm happy only with this one. Thank you so much!!

I love this recipe!  I tried it in my waffle maker and it worked even better than the pancakes!  I added 2 tbps of peanut or almond butter and it helps them stay together a litte better.

These were easy to make, fluffy and delicious. Top them with blue berries, bananas and lite syrup and you have a delicious healthy breakfast option to start your day.  We enjoy them Thanks!

Do you put the coconut out in with the wet ingredients?

These were great and a perfect, low-carb/keto replacement for my beloved weekend pancakes. I added a little ground cardamom to the batter and then topped with stewed blueberries and strawberries and a big dollop of thick cream. The pancakes were fluffy and the serving size was excellent, sometimes the recommended serve is always depressingly small but these made four small pancakes per person. Thanks for the recipe!

I'm new to the low carb diets and was very skeptical about this recipe.
I'm so glad I tried it. It was great. I added a drop of stevia to the last pancake as I can't really use Vermont maple syrup. It also was  great.Thank You.

These Almond flour pancakes are grain-free and gluten-free and come together in 15 minutes!

These keto-friendly cottage cheese pancakes are the perfect healthy breakfast. They are packed with healthy fats from almond flour and eggs, and proteins from cottage cheese. These pancakes are low in carbs and gluten-free. 

Keto-friendly cottage cheese pancakes

(80 grams) almond flour (finely ground)

(100 grams) cottage cheese (full fat)

tbsp butter

tbsp sweetener of your choice,

salt

Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat.

Place all ingredients in a bowl and blend together using an immersion blender. If you don’t have one, you can use a countertop blender or even a food processor instead. 

Grease the preheated skillet with the butter.

Measure out ¼ cup of batter and pour it into the skillet. Spread it gently using a teaspoon or a spatula.

Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles start to form on the surface. Flip and cook the other side for 2 more minutes or until your pancake turns golden brown. 

Repeat the process with the remaining butter.

Serve with toppings of your choice.
