These sausage rolls are so good, you can't have just one. They're fluffy, flaky crescent rolls wrapped around a creamy and cheesy sausage bite. These are a savory appetizer, but they'd make a delicious breakfast treat too. Bonus, they are super simple to prepare.

Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

These are so good and simple. I sometimes with even add a cup of sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture.  Either way, it is superb!

What a great way to start the morning or end a meal! We loved this old-fashioned coffee cake recipe. It's made with simple ingredients and is delicious. This dessert needs a warning label because they're highly addictive. You won't be able to stop at one! They're like cinnamon sugar donut holes filled with vanilla pudding. Once fried, they're slightly crisp on the outside and inside is light and airy. The layers make it easy to separate a small area to stuff them with pudding. You do need to eat these right away because they're not as good leftover. But don't worry...  put these filled donuts on a platter and watch them disappear.

While we were cooking these potatoes, we thought there was too much oil. But, once the potatoes are softened they absorb all the flavor from the butter and oil and caramelize beautifully. This is an old-fashioned recipe that reminds us of cooking in the kitchen with Grandma. They're almost like hash browns but without shredding or dicing the potatoes. Once fried, the potatoes are a little crisp outside and soft inside. Onions add tons of flavor. A delicious side dish you could serve at breakfast or dinner.

I've tried biscuit recipes for most of my life. Some work, some don't. Some are ok, but this one is GOOD. And it's an easy NO-FAIL recipe. I haven't even tried another one in years. I've been making these for a very long time now, and cannot remember where it came from. :/ But if you love homemade biscuits and have never had very good luck with them, this one will make you smile and feel proud! Yum! This is an old-fashioned banana bread recipe that's delicious. It's a very basic recipe but so good. Reminds us of something our grandmother would make. This banana bread is moist and tender, slightly dense, and has a nice crust on the outside. This would be great for breakfast or a snack.

Um, yum!! Easy for sure... delicious definitely! These cinnamon rolls take a little effort and time, but they're by no means hard to make. The dough is soft and melts in your mouth. There's just enough butter and cinnamon for a wonderful gooey center. On top is a classic glaze that adds just the right amount of sweetness. If you have leftovers, they're fantastic heated in the microwave.

This recipe was first given to me by a dear friend when we were stationed in Germany in the '80s. I tweaked it until it is as it reads here. These are great anytime, but my family traditionally expected these to be around to snack on when we decorated the Christmas Tree and again as part of the Christmas morning breakfast spread. I love these rolls either way, with or without the pecans. This recipe looks like it has a lot of steps but I promise, it is a snap. And sooooo good!

Like most homemade bread, there is a little bit of work to prepare this bread but the outcome is well worth it. By itself, the bread is light, fluffy, and sweet. While baking, they smell like cinnamon rolls. When you pour the cream over the cake, this cake becomes really special. It bakes to almost be the flavor and consistency of sweetened condensed milk. The cream sinks to the bottom and gives the bread an ooey, gooey texture. This will be great for dessert, an afternoon snack, or even breakfast or brunch.
