(90 mL) unsweetened almond milk

Tbsp Whey Protein (chocolate flavor)

Tbsp Water

Combine 3 tablespoons of chocolate chips and coconut oil in a large microwave-safe mug; heat in the microwave for 20-second increments until melted; stir to combine.

Add the protein powder, flour, water, and baking soda into the chocolate mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined.

Add egg to the chocolate mixture; stir well.

Heat in microwave until cake is cooked through, about 1 1/2 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 2 teaspoons of chocolate chips.

Cool cake for about 2 minutes before eating. Top with garnishes if desired.

2.6 Tablespoons Unsweetened Apple Sauce

4.3 Tablespoons Almond Flour

Scoop Protein Powder (Your Choice Flavor)

Ounces Milk Substitute (or Milk/Coffee)

¼ Teaspoon Xanthan Gum

½ Teaspoon Baking Powder

Add all of your ingredients into at least a 16 ounce mug

Mix everything together

Microwave for :45-1:00 depending on how powerful your microwave is

To start, add all of the ingredients to a large mug or ramekin.  Save a few mini chocolate chips for garnish.

Mix the ingredients together.  The batter will be similar to pudding.

Next, microwave on high for 60 seconds.  If more time is needed, microwave in quick 10-second increments until cooked through.

Use oven mitts to remove the mug from the microwave.  Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top!

Grease a mug (with about 1 cup/250ml/8oz capacity) with some cooking spray or by brushing on some cooking oil. Combine all dry ingredients and mix to combine.

Add in all wet ingredients and stir until everything is well incorporated.

Microwave for 60 seconds, then check for doneness by inserting a toothpick down the middle. If it is undercooked, microwave at 10-seconds burst until the insides are set.

Let it rest for 1-2 minutes, and it is ready to be enjoyed!

flour

tbsp vanilla protein powder

In a microwave-safe ramekin or mug, mix the oat flour, protein powder, coconut sugar, and baking powder.

Add in the milk and vanilla. Whisk until there are no clumps, and a smooth batter is formed.

Stir in chocolate chips if desired and sprinkle extra on top.

Microwave on high for 60 - 75 seconds. Every microwave is different, so I always check mine at the 50-second mark. If they look underdone or a little liquidy, cook in 10-second intervals until done.

For other people subbing, I only had maple syrup so I used a 1/2 tbsp of that instead of coconut sugar, and no vanilla essence cuz my protein powder’s quite flavourful + I’m using soy milk, and it was great. Have also been experimenting with adding more protein (extra tbsp, with corresponding extra 1/2 - 1 tbsp of milk) and next am going to try some frozen berries. Such a forgiving recipe everything seems to work!!

I used rice flour (oat allergy) with casein whey, and skinny syrup.  It came out with an English pudding consistency.  Very tasty!  An easy allergy swap with awesome results!
