Smoked salmon dip is a rich and creamy dip or spread for crackers, bread, or crunchy vegetables. The home smoked salmon takes the flavors to the next level!

Smoked Salmon Dip Recipe

oz salmon

lemon pepper

cream cheese (softened)

plain Greek yogurt

lemon juice

Tablespoon dill weed (minced)

garlic (minced)

smoked paprika

Kosher salt

black pepper

red pepper flakes

lemon zest

Preheat your smoker to 275 degrees F. Season the salmon with the lemon pepper seasoning and place in the smoker. Smoke until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (about 30-45 minutes).&nbsp;Allow the salmon to cool before flaking.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the salmon. Stir thoroughly. When well combined, gently fold in the flaked salmon. Garnish with the fresh lemon zest and additional dill (if desired) before serving.

I recommend serving the smoked salmon dip with crackers, sliced baguettes, and your favorite crunchy vegetables like bell peppers and cucumbers.

Smoked Salmon Mousse

cream cheese (can be light)

salmon (lox)

lemon juice (fresh is best)

dill

salt and pepper

Add the cream cheese, smoked salmon, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper to your food processor and blend on high until smooth, scraping the sides a few times. 

Either transfer the mousse to a bowl if you&#8217;re using it as a dip or put it into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip to pipe it onto cucumber rounds or crackers. (See notes)

Top with one or more of the optional garnishes to make it look pretty. 

I totally get why you love bite sized apps... how could you not?!  They're So flippin cute!!!  These look great.  I've never worked with filo... always wanted to though!  I might leave off the roe.  That's the one food I've never really cared to eat.  I TRY to like it when I eat sushi, but just don't like the texture.  This will still be yummy anyway!  :) :)

SMOKED SALMON DIP AND CRACKER RECIPE

Creamy smoked salmon dip with dill, chives and fresh lemon is the perfect appetizer served with crackers or crusty bread.

Creamy Smoked Salmon Dip

200 g (7 ounces) smoked salmon

200 g (7 ounces) cream cheese (room temperature)

chives

salt and pepper (to taste

In the bowl of a food processor, add the smoked salmon, room temperature cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise.

Chop the chives and dill and add to the bowl with a squeeze of lemon juice and salt and pepper. Start with a small pinch of salt and adjust seasoning once blended.

Blend until the dip is the consistency of your choice.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl of your choice then scatter of fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges and crackers of your choice.

Process until blended and smooth.

Scrape down the sides and add the smoked salmon.

Pulse until the salmon is finely chopped and incorporated into the dip.

Taste and adjust for salt.

Garnish with capers, dill, smoked salmon and lemon slices.

Serve with crackers or veggies.

Blend

Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until salmon is chopped well and everything is combined. Do not over process. Place dip in a small serving container, garnish with fresh dill and capers. Serve with everything crackers for dipping.
