What kind of steak do you typically use for stir-fry?

Made it and my family loved it, except I'm pretty sure I cuadrupled the measurements so no idea how it'll taste next time. Some variations: didn't have Sriracha or green onions; before the garlic, I cut up and sautéed a red bell pepper. I also did less soy sauce but more broth (I used chicken low sodium) so it was a little more saucey. Lastly, served over white rice.

This is a great recipe!  I followed to directions completely the first time (using low sodium soy sauce), it was very salty, but still very delicious.  After that I didn't add any extra salt, just using the broth and the soy sauce amounts in the recipe, and it was wonderful.  I served it over rice and had the best beef and broccoli dish I've ever tasted. Thank you for the recipe, I love to cook this!

Just made ours, looks beautiful and it was delicious with white rice! The sauce ended up much too thick and scarce to simmer and cook the broccoli so I added another 1/4 cup or so of beef broth and 1/2 cup of water and that worked for me! Also didn’t add quite as much soy sauce, I cut it down a bit since others said it was too much and I’m glad it did cause it was still pretty salty. But overall it was delicious!

This is one of my absolute favorite go-to recipes! It never lasts long in our house. It’s delicious served over jasmine rice. I follow the recipe pretty much exactly and it’s perfect. Tastes just like beef and broccoli from a restaurant and the beef gets so tender. Definitely make sure you use low-sodium broth and soy sauce!

Fun recipe and great tips especially for beginners! I've recently started to get into cooking so this guide helped a lot! I added a few ingredients myself: red and orange bell peppers, white onion, teryaki sauce, red pepper flakes and I put it on a bed of white rice. YUM! Wish I would have read fellow commenters before I started, I would have loved to add water chestnuts.

Yup...  added peppers and onions... I used 1/2 of the amount of low sodium soy sauce- and still found it wasaay too salty.  I’ll make it again, but totally skip the soy.

This recipe was amazing. The sauce was nice and thick and the meat wasn’t overcooked. I did not add any extra salt and added a bit less soy sauce than the recipe called for. Then, I put it over white rice. Delicious!

Great recipe, my sauce didn’t simmer, instead it started to thicken before I put the broccoli in. That wasn’t a problem, the broccoli coated in the sauce very well.

I added some red pepper and cilantro for garnish.

Well.  I added red peppers and onions, used half of the amount of low sodium soy sauce, and it still came out saltier than the Dead Sea!  Next time, I’ll skip the soy altogether.

Wow, this was an amazing dish! It was so flavourful and easy to make. I served it over a bed of jasmine rice with a bit of shredded cheese melted in it. I used half the amount of soya sauce and added 1/3 c. water instead because I didn't want it to be too salty. I also used 4 cloves of garlic instead of 3. It turned out wonderful and I my boyfriend loved it. I would 100% make it again. Thanks, Delish!

VERY tasty, and has that authentic "American" Chinese flavor. It probably is too salty for some. You could cut down on that by skipping the soy marinade, and just using some olive oil and citrus for the meat.
 I substituted Braggs Aminos for soy sauce, lemon juice for lime juice, and added matchstick carrots. Still came out perfect.

This was delicious. I made this almost as written: I added a little more lime and I didn’t use any green onions. I didn’t think it was too salty. I used low sodium soy sauce and beef broth and never added extra salt. This was also very easy and I will definitely make again!!!

Yikes.  Should have read the reviews before I started.  Definitely too salty, but the rest if the flavors are great.  Sauce looked great.  I’ll cut down on the soy sauce on the marinate and use less in the sauce.  Maybe keep it to 1/4 cup all the way around or go out and buy low sodium soy sauce.

This is a great recipe but a little salty for my taste.  Next time I'll do more broth and less soy sauce. I added grated ginger to the sauce and sauted onion and red pepper with the broccoli to add color and texture. I served it over brown rice. ?

Not good. Way too salty and I used low sodium everything. There are other versions of this recipe that are much better.

This Beef & Broccoli Is SO Much Better Than Takeout

Sweet Chili Tofu Bowls are an easy, fresh, and flavorful vegan weeknight dinner, packed with vibrant colors and flavors. Perfect for meal prep!

Sweet Chili Stir Fried Tofu Bowls

extra firm tofu (1.99)

Remove the tofu from the liquid in the package, wrap it in a clean, lint-free dishcloth or a few paper towels, and press it between two plates with a weight on top for 30 minutes (see detailed step by step photos and instructions here). Once the excess moisture has been pressed out, cut the tofu into 3/4 to 1-inch cubes.

Season the tofu cubes with a pinch of salt. Sprinkle a tablespoon of cornstarch over top and then toss to coat. Repeat with the second tablespoon of cornstarch.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium flame. Once the skillet and oil are hot, add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Place the fried tofu in a large bowl.

Dice the red bell pepper and thinly slice the green onions. Pull the cilantro leaves from the stems and give them a rough chop. Slice the avocado.

Add the diced bell pepper to the bowl with the fried tofu. Pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce over top, then stir until the bell pepper and tofu are coated in the sauce.

To build the bowls, start with one cup cooked rice, then add 1/4 of the tofu and bell pepper mixture. Add a few slices of avocado to the side of the bowl, then sprinkle the sliced green onion, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds over top. Enjoy!

This Chicken Stir Fry is an easy dinner idea, made with chicken, vegetables and a delicious stir fry sauce. This stir fry recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal. To make this recipe come together easily, prep all of your ingredients before you begin cooking.

Chicken Stir Fry

chicken broth

soy sauce

honey

sesame oil

ginger

garlic (minced)

olive oil

chicken breasts

broccoli

carrots

bell peppers

green onions

rice

Combine all stir fry sauce ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Whisk together and set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

When the pan is hot, add the cubed chicken and cook until browned and almost cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer the chicken to a clean plate.

Add the remaining tablespoon olive oil to the pan. Add the broccoli and carrots and cook, stirring often, for 2 minutes. Add the bell peppers to the pan and continue stir frying the veggies until crisp-tender, 2 to 3 minutes.

Whisk the stir fry sauce to recombine. Add the chicken back to the pan, followed by the sauce. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.

Stir in the green onions. Serve stir fry over cooked rice.

Garlic Ginger Pork Stir Fry

beef broth (reduced sodium is best)

Tbsp light soy sauce

tsp dark soy sauce (optional but recommended)

Tbsp light brown sugar

- 1 tsp sambal oelek chili paste

tsp fresh ginger (grated)

red pepper

pork

tsp ginger

snow peas

mushrooms, sliced

cilantro,

peanuts,

In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and broth until smooth. Stir in the soy sauces, brown sugar, sambal oelek, ginger, and red pepper flakes; set aside.

MAKE THE SAUCE

In a wok or large skillet, stir-fry pork in 1 Tbsp oil over MED HIGH heat for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove to a plate.&nbsp;

In the same pan, add remaining 1 Tbsp oil, garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds, then add stir-fry vegetables and cook until crisp tender.

Stir broth mixture and add to the vegetables. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened.&nbsp;

Add stir fry noodles and pork; heat through. Drizzle with sesame oil, then top with garnishes and serve.

GINGER GARLIC PORK STIR FRY

Stir-Fried Pork with Ho Fun Noodles

tbsp rice cooking wine (Shaoxing if available)

Argo Corn Starch

pork tenderloin (1/8 to 1/4 inch slices)

tbsp oyster sauce

tbsp dark soy sauce

tbsp rice cooking wine

sugar

beef stock

Mazola Corn Oil

ginger (thinly sliced)

garlic sliced thin (sliced thin)

tbsp scallions (sliced- use white portion for saute)

red pepper flakes (to taste)

bok choy

carrots (sliced)

red bell peppers (sliced)

broccoli florets

tbsp sliced scallions (sliced- use green part for garnish)

Ho Fun Noodles (cooked per instructions)

Combine all the ingredients for the velveting mixture in a bowl and mix well.

Add pork to the mixture, mixing well and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.

Mix sauce ingredients the in another bowl.

Heat Mazola Corn oil in a wok or large saute pan over high heat until it begins to shimmer. It should be about 350 degrees.

Add the pork to the pan and quickly fry it for 1-2 minutes until pork is almost done and the exterior has turned nicely brown.

Remove the pork from the pan and place over a wire grate to allow it to drain.

Pour the oil out of the pan, reserving 2 tablespoons.   Rinse the pan with water, getting rid of any excess residue by scraping the pan.  Dry pan and return to set aside till needed.

Cook Ho Fun noodles as directed on package,

After the noodles have started cooking place the saute pan back on the stove and finish the stir fry.

10.	Add the 2 tablespoons of oil back to the pan. Add in ginger, garlic and scallions (white). Saute for about 45 seconds until fragrant.

11.	Return the pork to pan along with vegetables.  Saute for about 1-2 minute then add in the sauce mixture.

12.	Cook for about 2 minutes until the sauce mixture thickens.  Serve over cooked Ho Fun Noodles and garnish with scallions (green)
