Make homemade brioche and enjoy with jam or butter for breakfast. It takes a little effort, but the results of this sweet, soft bread are well worth it

Brioche

strong white flour

tsp fine sea salt

caster sugar

dried active yeast

whole milk

eggsat room temperature, beaten, plus 1 for egg wash

salted butter,

Put the flour in a bowl of a <a href="https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/top-five-food-mixers">stand mixer</a> with a dough hook. Add the salt to one side and sugar to the other. Pour in the yeast to the side with the sugar. Mix each side into the flour with your hands,&nbsp;then mix it all together with the dough hook.&nbsp;

Heat the milk until warm to the touch, but not hot. Mix into the flour mix until combined. With the dough hook on medium, gradually add the eggs and mix for 10 mins.&nbsp;

Gradually add the softened butter, one or two cubes at a time, until combined. This will take 5-8 mins. Scrape down the sides, the dough will be very soft.&nbsp;

Scrape the dough into a large bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave for 1 hr 30 mins-2 hrs until doubled in size and well-risen. Once risen, put in the fridge for 1 hr.

Line the bottom&nbsp;and sides of a 900g loaf tin with baking parchment. Portion the dough into seven equal pieces (the easiest way to do this accurately is to weigh it). Lightly dust a work surface with flour, take a piece of dough and pull each corner into the middle to form a circular shape. With a bit of pressure, push down and roll into ball. Repeat with the six remaining pieces.

Put the balls into the tin, four&nbsp;on one side and three in the gaps on the other side. Cover with a tea towel and leave to prove for 30-35 mins until almost doubled in size. Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Lightly brush the dough with the egg wash and bake for 30-35 mins until golden and risen. Leave to cool in the tin for 20 mins,&nbsp;then remove and cool completely.&nbsp;

We've tried a lot of dinner rolls and these are fantastic yeast rolls. They are fluffy, tender, and you won't be able to stop eating them. The balance of the buttery flavor and a slight sweetness is perfect. This recipe makes 12 rolls. You could make the rolls smaller and get more out of them, but we loved the size of these dinner rolls.

Oh yum!! This Amish cinnamon bread tastes like it came from a specialty shop. No one needs to know how incredibly easy it was to make. This quick bread is similar in flavor to a cinnamon coffee cake. It has a wonderful spice with just the right amount of sweetness. It would make a lovely housewarming gift for friends. Everyone loves homemade sweet bread and this one is a winner.

Lemon and blueberries go together like peas and carrots! This lemon blueberry bread is so easy to make. There is just the right amount of blueberries to balance the lemon. I enter our local Farm Fair Culinary Competition on the quest for the coveted Silver Bowl Grand Prize. I have placed over the years with Blue Ribbons etc. but the Silver Bowl escaped me until last year. I finally won it with Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake that I will be posting. The Silver Bowl can not be won unless blueberries are the main ingredient. This was the second runner up in the Bread Category for the 2010 Competition.

So moist, SO Blue Ribbon!  We added the optional coconut and would highly recommend it. Including dried cranberries in the recipe adds a pop of flavor to the zucchini bread. This bread is so moist when you cut into it,  it may break apart a bit. Make sure to grab every single crumb. It's that good. Enjoy!

This recipe takes zucchini bread from good to great! I've gotten many compliments on this bread. It's great for gifts, parties or just slice up a loaf and watch it disappear! I like to use part coconut oil for extra flavor and nice texture.

Great for freezing for later use...

Cinnamon Bread is an easy sweet bread that comes together quickly and is swirled with sweet cinnamon butter making it perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Cinnamon Bread

all purpose flour

baking soda

baking powder

salt

2% milk

butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Heavily grease and lightly flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan

In a medium bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.

In a large bowl whisk together the milk and lemon juice; let stand for 5 minutes. Add the vegetable oil, vanilla and eggs.  Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in 3 parts stirring just until incorporated.

In small bowl stir together brown sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon and melted butter.  Pour 1/2 of the batter in the loaf pan. Make 3 lines the length of the pan with the cinnamon butter. Now turn the pan horizontally and swirl with the end of a skewer or toothpick.  The best way to swirl is to make S or 8 shapes.  Do not overdo it or everything will mix together.  Add the rest of the batter and make 3 lines the length of the pan with the cinnamon butter. Now turn the pan horizontally and swirl with the end of skewer or toothpick.

Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow the loaf to cool for 5 minutes and then invert.
