Step 1
Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and add 1 teaspoon of salt. Place the pot on high heat and bring it to a rolling boil.
Step 2
While the water is heating, wash the green beans and trim off the ends.
Step 3
Once the water is boiling, add the green beans.
Step 4
Boil the green beans for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender but still crisp.
Step 5
Drain the green beans in a colander.Return the beans to the pot and add the butter, toss using tongs until the butter has melted and the beans are fully coated. Season with salt and pepper, and toss again.
