Blue Cheese Dressing

Gorgonzola

sour cream

buttermilk

mayonnaise

white wine vinegar

Worcestershire sauce

black pepper

Put the Gorgonzola in a small mixing bowl and mash it with a fork. Add the sour cream, buttermilk, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper and whisk to combine. Serve or store in an airtight container, in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week.

Alton never fails! This is a perfect blue cheese dressing. My 8 and 11 year old nieces even loved it.  Hats off to you Alton, love everything you cook!

This recipe is easy and delicious! If you have time, make it a day ahead. I think it’s even better when all the flavors have some time to get to know each other.

This was quick, scrumptious and the BEST I’ve ever made! 

It was smooth and very creamy. I added more blue cheese than the recipe called for and that worked out great for our taste.  I live in Alaska and its not always easy to get the types of food you can get in the lower 48, or the stores are already sold out. I love this recipe and now that I can make my own dressings I don’t have to worry about getting to the store bought stuff first.   Sharon G. 

Made this a few times and it's a big hit.  Like others have mentioned the recipe is only 5 star with the addition of some smoked paprika and a little garlic

I agree that the dressing is somewhat bland. I made it today to use tomorrow, so am hoping the flavor will blossom. Did add more blue cheese and more pepper. Tomorrow will try either more vinegar or lemon juice, and a little salt.

Found this dressing to be a bit boring with little taste. I doctored it up with some granulated garlic and red pepper flakes. It helped but still felt like it was missing something.
