Export 8 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180ºC/350ºF. Line a 12 serve, large muffin tray with cupcake liners.
Step 2
Sift flour into a large bowl. Add remaining dry ingredients and combine.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, lightly beat egg and add wet ingredients (excluding custard). Combine.
Step 4
Add wet ingredients (excluding custard) to the dry ingredients. Combine but don't over mix.
Step 5
Spoon a little muffin mixture into each cupcake liner - until it is a quarter full.
Step 6
Add a teaspoon of the prepared custard filling to each muffin
Step 7
Cover the custard with more of the muffin mixture but don't fill the cupcake liners right to the top as the mixture will rise when baking. Fill each liner until the mixture is about 1/2cm from the top.
Step 8
Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tray.
