Export 4 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Step 2
Beat egg & milk together.
Step 3
Add liquid to dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.
Step 4
Drop dumplings onto the top of your hot, simmering soup one large tablespoon at a time. Don't worry if they look small. They will puff up!
Step 5
Make sure the soup is turned down to a low simmer and put the lid on.
Step 6
Check back in about 20 minutes and they should be puffed up and cooked through.
