Step 1
Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Mix it well & keep it aside.
Step 3
In another bowl, add mash banana, curd, jaggery powder, oil & vanilla essence. Whisk it well all together.
Step 4
Now add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently fold it. Then add chopped walnuts & fold it in.
Step 5
Grease cake tin with little oil & pour the cake batter. Tap it twice to remove air bubbles.
Step 6
Bake the cake in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 35 to 40 minutes.
Step 7
After 40 minutes check the cake at the centre with a skewer and it comes out clean.
Step 8
Once baked, cool down the cake completely on a wire rack.
Step 9
Now enjoy a slice of the cake with a cup of hot tea or coffee.
