Step 1

Peel garlic with a paring knife or shake them hard in a mason jar with a lid. Discard skin and cut off the top of each bulb.

Step 2

Transfer garlic bulbs into a food processor, pulse until grainy, or if you prefer it into a paste, pulse for longer, scraping down the sides intermittently.

Step 3

Scoop garlic into a freezer bag, write the date on the bag and store in the freezer.
