Step 1
In a small saucepan, bring the bourbon and maple syrup to a boil.
Step 2
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins until thickened and slightly reduced. Set aside.
Step 3
Preheat a grill or grill pan to high, and grill donut halves, glazed side down, until charred, about 1 minute. Set aside to cool.
Step 4
Place 2 scoops of ice cream in between each donut sandwich and press down.
Step 5
Drizzle with Maple bourbon glaze and serve with a shot of bourbon on the side.
