Boil Eggs

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Reduce the heat to low (or off) to ensure the water is no longer boiling or has bubbles and use a skimmer to place the eggs in the water. Then increase the heat back to high and set a timer for 14 minutes.

Cool Eggs

While the eggs are boiling prepare an ice water bath and set aside. After 14 minutes, remove the eggs from the water and place in the ice water bath.

Slice in Half

Once the eggs have cooled completely, peel them and slice in half lengthwise. Remove the yolk to a small bowl with a spoon and place the egg whites on a plate.

Stir Ingredients

Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir everything together until it&#039;s smooth.

Add Mixture

Use a spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white. Sprinkle on paprika for garnish.

Hard boil 12 eggs by either boiling for 8 minutes in a pot of boiling water or...

Place the rack in your instant pot, add 1-2 cups water to the bottom, place eggs on the rack.  Cook on low pressure for 7 minutes.  Quick release the steam.  

Either way cool the hot eggs in an ice bath.

Beat in the mayo, mustard, onion salt, garlic salt, and dill pickle juice. Beat until the mixture is completely smooth.

Put the yolk mixture into a frosting bag with desired tip and pipe into the egg whites. Garnish with green onion tips if desired.  Refrigerate until serving.

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the egg yolks into a large bowl and mash into a crumble with a fork.

Add mayonnaise and salt.

BASE RECIPE:

Mash in avocado. Add mustard, lime juice, tarragon,&nbsp;and black pepper. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until combined and smooth.

Scoop filling into each egg white. Garnish with tarragon and green peppers, if desired.

Avocado:

Add mustard, vinegar, and black pepper. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth. Stir in ham and cheese.

Garnish with more bacon and cheese.

Bacon and Cheese:

Add mustard, vinegar,&nbsp;and black pepper. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth. Stir in sun-dried tomato, cheese,&nbsp;and parsley.

Garnish with more sun-dried tomatoes, cheese,&nbsp;and parsley.

Sun-Dried Tomato:

Add mustard, hot sauce, lime juice, cumin,&nbsp;and paprika. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth. Stir in jalapenos, cheese,&nbsp;and red bell pepper.

Garnish with chopped jalapenos and paprika.

Southwestern:

Add mustard, vinegar,&nbsp;and black pepper. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth. Stir in ham and cheese.

Garnish with more ham and cheese.

Ham &amp; Cheddar:

Add mustard, pickle juice, dill,&nbsp;and black pepper. Mash (or beat with a hand mixer) until completely smooth. Stir in chopped pickles.

Garnish with pickle slices and dill.

Best Deviled Egg Recipe (Loaded Deviled Eggs!)

Place 1-2 cups water in the bottom of a double boiler, cover and bring to a boil.  Place the eggs in the top of the double boiler and place on the top of the double boiler.  Cover and boil the eggs 12-13 minutes.  While the eggs steam, place 2 cups of ice in a large bowl and fill with cold water.  After 12 minutes, transfer one egg to the ice water, break the eggshell and test the egg for doneness.  If the egg isn't cooked through, cook an additional 1-2 minutes.  When eggs are cooked, transfer them to the ice water, crack the eggshells, return to the ice water and let the eggs cool 5 minutes (the water will seep under the shell making them easier to peel). Peel the eggs and set aside.

For steamed hard-boiled eggs (my preferred method):

Place eggs in a single layer, in the bottom, of a large saucepan.  Cover the eggs by 1-inch of water and bring the water to a rolling boil.  Place the lid on the pan, turn the heat to low and boil 1 more minute.  Turn off the heat and let the eggs sit in the water 11 minutes.  Again, test 1 egg for doneness. *Note: If you cook eggs too long, a green rim will appear around the yolk.  The eggs would still be edible, but not as tender and pretty.  When eggs are cooked, transfer them to the ice water, crack the eggshells, return to the ice water and let the eggs cool 5 minutes (the water will seep under the shell making them easier to peel).  Peel the eggs and set aside.

Cut the cooked eggs in half crosswise and place the yolks in a medium-size bowl.  Trim a very thin slice off the bottom of each half of the egg whites so they can sit flat.  Set aside.

To the bowl with the egg yolks, add sour cream, 2/3rd crisped bacon, 1-tablespoon chopped chives and 2 tablespoons cheddar cheese.  Salt &amp; pepper to taste.  Mix until well combined and fill each egg white with the yolk mixture.  Top with reserved bacon, chives, cheddar cheese and drizzle with sour cream.

Make creamy &amp; rich Easy Instant Pot Deviled Eggs (Pressure Cooker Deviled Eggs) with a tad spicy twist! Our crowd-pleasing go-to party appetizer. Budget-friendly, simple &amp; delicious.

Instant Pot Deviled Eggs

(250 milliliters) cold water

Paprika

(30 grams) full fat mayonnaise

(15 milliliters) extra-virgin olive oil

(5 grams) dijon mustard

(5 milliliters) white vinegar

black pepper and sea salt

Make Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs: Place 1 cup of cold water and a steamer basket in Instant Pot. Place 6 - 8 large eggs on the steamer basket. Close the lid. Pressure cook at Low Pressure for 12 minutes + Quick Release. Open the lid carefully. Peel the eggs under cold running tap water. Then stop the cooking process by submerging the eggs in a cold water bath for roughly 5 minutes.

Remove Egg Yolk: Slice the cooled hard boiled eggs in half. Carefully separate all the yolks from the egg whites in a small mixing bowl. Set aside the egg whites on a plate. Smash the yolks with a fork.

Make Deviled Dressing: Add 2 tbsp (30g) mayonnaise, 1 tbsp (15ml) extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tsp (5g) Dijon mustard, 1 tsp (5ml) white vinegar, and ¼ - ½ tsp (1.25g – 2.5g) Sriracha to the smashed egg yolks. Mix well. Taste and season with sea salt &amp; ground black pepper if necessary.

Pipe Deviled Dressing: Place the dressing mixture in a small ziploc bag, cut a small corner with a pair of scissors. Then, pipe the dressing mixture into the egg whites.

Garnish Deviled Eggs: Sprinkle paprika on the deviled eggs, season with ground black pepper and sea salt. Enjoy~
